When shooting this set of Yuki Minakami, that line 'Live happily' kept echoing in my mind. To restore that temperament between detachment and gentleness, I specially chose this black slip dress with metal eyelets and a lace hem, along with half-tied long hair and her iconic black wristband, staying as close to the setup as possible in terms of details. The steel railings of the rooftop and the distant city background perfectly create her sense of atmosphere—standing at a high place looking down at the world, yet with a touch of a bystander's meaning. In the first crouching composition, I let my fingers casually hold a prop cigarette with an empty gaze, wanting to capture that moment of hers where she doesn't indulge in any emotion but simply exists calmly. The second pose of leaning against the railing is more relaxed; when the wind blew up the hair strands, it felt like the entire frame came alive with breath. The photography process was all about looking for natural light; the high saturation of the blue sky and white clouds formed a strong contrast with the black clothing, making it visually cleaner. There was no deliberate acting out of any strong dramatic conflict this time; it was more like becoming her in that environment, using her perspective to feel the sky overhead and the city beneath her feet. Every wonderful day spent cosplaying a character with a philosophical core makes me ponder a bit more about the boundaries between 'daily life' and 'miracles.' I hope this set of photos can convey that unique sense of tranquility belonging to Yuki Minakami.
