This Military Lolita outfit took quite a long time to prepare from conception to final photos. The gold badges and chain details on the hat, along with the embroidery and metal buttons on the clothes—every single accessory was coordinated by myself. The Red and black color scheme combined with the velvet fabric looks exceptionally intense against the red backdrop of the studio, as the overall goal was to present that aura of a high-ranking figure. During the shoot, I tried several angles. The standing pose holding the brim of the hat highlights the overall silhouette of the costume and the pattern on the skirt, while the one sitting on the red leather chair feels a bit more relaxed. However, my personal favorite is Photo 5, the close-up where I extend my hand. That angle completely maximizes the gaze and the overall atmospheric feel, and with the black walking stick in my hand plus the details of the red chair back behind me, the visual focus is highly clear. The cooperation of props is very important; the walking stick is not just an ornament, it also helps find the body's center of gravity. There was no specific character this time; I just wanted to bring out the quality of this style through Cosplay photography. The post-processing mainly adjusted the red tones, making the dark areas deeper to ensure the contrast between red and black doesn't look messy. It was quite tiring overall, but it can be considered a complete attempt at this style of Lolita fashion. I think the texture of the clothing needs to be slowly adjusted on-site; although it looks very cool, the clothes are actually very heavy, carrying the full weight of the fabric and metal.
