This Tingyun outfit went through several rounds of adjustments from the initial fitting to the official shoot. The set design this time was remarkably meticulous: dark wooden flooring paired with a gnarled pine bonsai, paper lanterns radiating warm amber light, and towering white floral installations alongside soaring white doves in the backdrop, bringing both classical and fantastical ambiance to its peak. To complement the scenery, the photographer made extensive use of intense spotlights and side-rim lighting; while demanding to pose in, this lighting style cast bold, dramatic shadows across the dark timber floor, instantly amplifying depth and three-dimensionality—especially in the frames aided by stage fog machines, conjuring an ethereal, celestial aesthetic.

Regarding the costume, the black mandarin-collar top adorned with golden auspicious cloud embroidery revealed exquisite texture under bright illumination. The red ribbon at the neckline and the black-and-white color blocking not only enhanced layering, but also contoured my figure beautifully. Detached wide sleeves along the arms lent an airy grace to every motion. For complete fidelity, I kept the oversized plush fox ears and fluffy tail on throughout the session; finding the right angles in them truly demanded solid neck and core stability. The White stockings patterned with golden motifs, worn with gold peep-toe high-heeled sandals, elongated my leg lines under the spotlights, which was a key visual element I made sure to emphasize during shooting.

With the folding fan serving as the core prop in hand, I centered my posing rhythm around opening and closing the fan. Poses ranged from reclining on the timber floor to sitting sideways with extended legs. Continuously repositioning on hard wood was an honest test of core strength; to deliver visual tension for the lens, I practiced shifting my weight at various angles over and over. For facial expression management, matching the green contact lenses and reddish eye makeup, I aimed to inject a languid yet subtly predatory edge into my gaze.

To the right of the set, the Japanese-style folding screens, wooden display shelves, and golden lotus floor lamps were all physically constructed. When framing wide-angle shots featuring the cranes, the camera angle was pressed extremely low to incorporate every element into the frame. The bright red silk draped across the floor created a striking visual clash with the black attire. The motifs on the folding fan were specially selected to harmonize seamlessly with the ambient color palette. In capturing movement, balancing static elegance with expansive motion and subtle micro-expressions ensured that the photos embodied both the character's core nature and powerful cinematic flair. From sweeping wide-angle compositions to intimate frontal close-ups, we sought to capture every nuance. Whether framed beside the pine, next to the wooden table, or in front of the white cranes, every finished shot owed itself to the team's seamless teamwork across lighting, set building, and fog timing. Finding balance and ideal angles across the timber boards was tiring, but seeing the finished interplay of light, shadow, and overarching texture made every bit of effort worthwhile.
