For this convention shoot at CICF, the wardrobe centered around the bunny collaboration look between Arknights (Arknights) and Harper's BAZAAR. Thorough prep work went into making this session happen. The white cape was crafted from lightweight chiffon with fluid drape specifically to catch kinetic motion when walking or in a breeze, letting the black sheer tulle billow dynamically. The deep red inner base featured geometric panelling; the red-and-white color block popped vividly on camera. The genius of this outfit lies in its layered structure: pure white on the outside, deep crimson within, and black translucent tulle along the hem, creating striking dimension whenever I spun around.

For cosmetics, aligning with Amiya's character design, I selected high-saturation icy blue contact lenses. Eye makeup emphasized subtle droop liner and cleanly defined, separated lashes, grounded with a reddish-brown eyeshadow base that echoed the red elements of the garments for a faithful 2D anime finish. Styling the wig took meticulous work as well: bangs and sidelocks were strategically locked with styling gel to prevent them from sticking to the forehead or frizzing out in the humid, crowded convention hall, needing only a light touch to reset their shape between takes.

Down below, the styling featured gradient White stockings (White stockings) blending into pink-violet tones; these gradient tights accentuated leg contours remarkably well under indoor hall downlights. For footwear, off-white platform Mary Janes physically lengthened proportions while the straps and bowknot accents added an obedient, delicate maiden charm—though trekking through the convention halls in thick platform soles all day definitely left my feet aching. Crucial red accessories like the crimson gloves and collar choker completed character recognition while focusing visual attention around the wrists.

The most amusing detail was the prop in hand. Having forgotten the intended prop bunny, I grabbed my personal Shanshan bunny plush on the spot as an impromptu substitute. Shanshan bunny's blue ribbon coincidentally added a lovely accent to the red, white, and black palette. Holding the plush naturally resolved hand awkwardness while lending warmth and approachability to the frame.

Lighting is always the hardest challenge in a convention center. Overhead ceiling lights tend to be flat, but photographer Jingshui brilliantly scouted angles, harnessing lateral ambient daylight to carve rich tonal depth into the white cape and prevent blown-out highlights. Wide shots were staged in open corridors, using a wide aperture to blur distant pillars and ceiling fixtures into creamy bokeh, cleanly isolating the subject while flattering vertical proportions. Firing bursts to capture the coat billowing in the wind yielded the most natural, living frames. Crowded as the venue was, coming away with such satisfying shots made every bit of effort worthwhile.
