Actually, the makeup and styling for this Floral Dance cosplay were already finalized a week before Bilibili World. Considering the recent high temperatures, this lightweight design with a blue-and-white color scheme indeed brought a touch of visual coolness to the convention venue. Friends from the prop team rushed out this massive blue flower petal umbrella, which feels very lightweight in hand. Instead, it looks more like a huge decorative bouquet, making it a highly practical accessory for blocking light or posing at the convention.

For the hair and makeup this time, we specially emphasized the translucent feel of water blue. Since the character's hair color is very light, the hair strands used a high-volume ice-blue wig for styling, which, combined with the oversized plush rabbit ears on the top of the head, immediately elevated the visual center of gravity. The fluffy texture of the rabbit ears is excellent, with a hint of light pink showing through inside—a detail that is hard to fully present in post-processed photos but feels fantastic to the touch on-site. The makeup opted for a clear, translucent base paired with light blue colored contact lenses, attempting to create a lively and playful atmosphere.

As for the clothing, it actually featured quite a few layers. The top mainly utilized white and semi-sheer light gauze, with an exquisite golden heart-shaped metal pendant at the neckline, and overlapping pink and blue lacing below, adding a bit of sweetness. The skirt hem is a design I absolutely love: it's a multi-layered ruffled miniskirt transitioning from a layer of white to gradient blue, and then to deep ocean blue. Furthermore, multiple deep blue three-dimensional fabric roses and several light blue small flowers were hand-sewn onto it; when walking around, these flowers quiver slightly, looking exceptionally vivid. The leg design adopted a relatively rare asymmetrical concept: one side features a bare leg paired with a floral ankle ornament, while the other side features gradient tight over-knee stockings smoothly transitioning from white on the thigh to a bright water blue at the ankle. This contrast in color block division can visually provide an excellent effect of contouring the leg shape and increasing height.

The lighting at the Bilibili World venue was actually very cluttered, with illumination from the Sony booth as well as spotlights from the ceiling, making it hard to completely avoid a messy background. However, during the process of cosplay photography, I tried my best to utilize this massive flower petal prop and the twisting angles of my body to create visual guidance. The first image actually captures me coordinating with the photographer to strike a lightweight pose standing on one leg. During post-processing, streaming light and flying blue light butterfly special effects were added, making the frame look even more filled with a dreamlike, magic-awakening quality.

In reality, shooting such a set of photos is not as effortless as it looks on the surface. The foot traffic at the convention venue was massive, so we needed to constantly search for appropriate gaps, utilizing light spots and depth of field to bypass the crowds. Although this outfit is lightweight, it actually has support inside to maintain the puffiness of the skirt hem, so standing and walking for a long time still caused a bit of discomfort. However, when seeing the clean and refreshing image quality in the final photos, all the hard work felt worth it. As a shooting attempt at a convention venue, the expressiveness of this Floral Dance cosplay was indeed very impressive. The tailoring of the costume fits the character perfectly, and the large area of blue tones paired with the embellishment of rabbit ears endows the entire styling with both a 2D dreamlike quality and high recognition for checking in at conventions. The dynamic snapshots in this set of photos also showcase the character's agile traits. I hope everyone enjoys this shooting share from Bilibili World.
