[Hu Tao Cosplay] NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Sakura Cloud Celestial — Freezing a Lively Moment under Booth Lights

This NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Hu Tao \"Sakura Cloud Celestial\" cosplay features a soft color palette of white, pink, and red, paired with beast ears that have white fluffy edges, and a twin-tail wig that gradients from light gold to pink. The top is an off-the-shoulder tube design, and the golden hollowed-out flower accessory on the chest is highly eye-catching, serving as the core visual anchor of this entire look.

The background for this shoot was the Godox booth. The massive orange-red glowing ring behind me had a powerful visual impact, creating an intriguing contrast of cybernetic and traditional styles against this ethereal Sakura Cloud Celestial outfit. Because the background light source was an extremely strong ring-shaped highlight, the exposure parameters were adjusted to ensure the character received sufficient fill light while keeping the neon ring behind from losing focus. This actually put our snapshot speed and aperture control to the test on-site.

For props, I prepared a translucent oil-paper mesh umbrella, its ribs decorated with plenty of white ribbons and pearl tassels. On set, this umbrella was both an excellent atmospheric prop and helped block some of the overhead lights, making the light on my face much softer. To match the light and airy feel of this outfit, I experimented with several standing and sitting postures of varying centers of gravity.

Image 5, the single-leg standing shot, was my top choice for the cover because this dynamic pose beautifully elongates the visual proportions, showcasing the combination of white stockings and high-heeled sandals. Meanwhile, the interaction between my hand and the mesh umbrella makes the overall silhouette look more vivid, naturally displaying the details of the costume's sides and legs. In addition to the standing poses, I also tried various sitting postures to highlight the red bows and pink flower decorations around the ankles. The winking close-up in Image 2 was also quite fun, adding a touch of playfulness to this ethereal look.

Since these are live photos from CP30, the foot traffic at the booth was actually immense. Being able to quickly find the right shooting spots and lighting angles amidst the hustle and bustle, and ultimately capture these clean compositions, deserves a special thank you to the photographer's seamless execution on-site. During this cosplay shoot, we also paid close attention to the flow of the wig strands, trying our best to keep the gradient pink ends from looking messy. The material of the white and pink sheer fabrics was also key; through tilting the paper umbrella and rotating my body, the mesh skirt and floating ribbons formed a flying, dynamic motion in the frame.

The images you see are only a portion of what we shot on-site. In reality, that golden chest ornament was quite heavy, so maintaining large-scale physical poses required careful attention to the posture of my waist and neck. To continue that sense of elegance and lightness characteristic of the \"Sakura Cloud Celestial,\" I incorporated many delicate adjustments in my stances and hand gestures, and the overall atmosphere of this final set turned out quite well.
