The moment I put on the wig, I knew this set of styling had to bring 100% accuracy. The light pinkish-white twin tails paired with side red braids are the core visual memory point of this look, and that black mini top hat on the crown, along with a white ribbon and a metal pendant, adds a touch of playfulness and mystery to the overall temperament. In terms of makeup, I specially chose magenta contact lenses to match the character's eye setting, and pasted diamond and heart-shaped irregular sequins under the eyes. Combined with a sweet blush and aegyo sal shadows, it makes the gaze look even more agile, unique to Anime-style makeup.

Regarding the layers of the costume, there is actually a lot of thought behind this red, white, and black patchwork jacket. The neckline section features thickened, crisp white geometric collar plates, which not only prop up the silhouette of the entire neck and shoulders but also look highly three-dimensional in front of the camera. The black-with-red-edge bowtie on the neck paired with a golden metal buckle balances the visual weight of the overall colors in its details. Throughout the shooting process, I was constantly adjusting the positioning of the lights, because light-colored wigs can easily overexpose under strong light, while dark clothing fabrics absorb light. Therefore, I chose an indoor setting with abundant natural light, using softboxes and reflectors to tone down the highlight areas while brightening the skin tone, making the final prints look soft and translucent.

Many friends might be curious about the texture of this kind of makeup in real life. Actually, red-toned eyeshadows and eyelash products heavily test blending techniques. I did a layered elongation at the outer corners of the eyes, cooperating with the eyeliner to sketch a slightly upturned curve. This way, even without making large expressions, the eyes can maintain an enlarged effect. When taking photos, I specially tried two different expressions: one is smiling and making a V-sign at the lens, showing iconic approachability; the other is a playful single-eye Wink, cooperating with hand movements to completely release that quirky, lively vibe. Selecting these two frames for sharing is because they respectively display two different personality facets: static elegance and dynamic playfulness.

Regarding Wig styling, this twin-tail look heavily relies on hair volume and root support, especially the braided pigtails on both sides. Every strand of hair must first be curled with a small curling iron to create curves before braiding, which ensures a fluffy look that doesn't stick to the scalp. The top hat on the crown was secured with invisible clips to avoid displacement during windy moments or large movements. The white patchwork parts of the costume are actually made of matte leather, so daily storage must avoid creasing; I specially used a garment steamer to iron it for half an hour before shooting to maintain that crisp texture.

In fact, every cosplay is a recreation based on the understanding of the character. Besides outward resemblance, what's more important is that the gaze and posture convey that confident yet slightly mischievous temperament. For this shoot, I chose a cool color temperature and appropriately lowered the saturation a tiny bit to make the contrast between red and white sharper, while letting the character's skin tone appear fairer, cleaner, and brighter. Post-processing only involved basic skin smoothing and light-and-shadow balance without overusing filters, because authentic textures and details best reflect the care put into a good look. In daily life, I am actually someone clumsy with crafts, but for this styling, I watched several tutorials just to study wig braiding, and the final result makes me quite satisfied.

Many fellow enthusiasts might notice the heart and diamond decorations on the cheeks; those were added on top of the foundation using a special double-sided tape. To fit the tiny movements of the facial muscles, the adhesive must be selected to be ultra-thin and breathable, otherwise, it can easily fall off during exaggerated expressions. During the shoot, I checked almost every few photos to ensure they stayed firmly in place. Overall, every step from hairstyle, makeup to costume pairing underwent repeated deliberation this time. Although the process was hard work, seeing that complete image through the lens made me feel it was all worth it.
