[Vivian Cosplay] Street First Encounter in Zenless Zone Zero: Afternoon Snapshot of a Purple-Haired Elf

During the preparation phase for this look, I really wanted to find a location featuring Itasha elements for the shoot, as the vehicle's purple color and dark-themed decals harmonized perfectly with the tone of my outfit. Taking advantage of the great outdoor natural light over the past few days, I finally completed this photoshoot.

Let's talk about the hair and makeup details first. Styling the long purple curly hair took some effort due to the sheer hair volume; achieving this voluminous yet textured look required precise layered styling. Combined with elf ear props and red contact lenses, the eye focus becomes intensely striking. For makeup, I slightly extended the eyeliner outward to give the eyes a sharp, cool intensity, while using nude lip colors to balance out overall aggressiveness.

The outfit is a highly refined gothic-style dress. The white bell-sleeved shirt is an eye-catcher, featuring layered ruffles and silver metal buttons at the cuffs; while it slightly restricts arm movement, it's completely worth it for the 3D structure of the styling. The black vest layered over it, alongside the purple gemstone necktie at the collar, coordinates seamlessly with my hair color. The lower half's white skirt hem features fluffy plush trim, paired with black stockings for a smooth visual transition of layers. As an Outdoor real shot, the stocking texture looks delicate under natural light, while matching purple platform chunky-heeled lace-up shoes elongate leg proportions and align with the photo set's subtly dark, elegant tone.

I brought several props to assist the shoot. First is the plush doll held in my hands—it wears almost the exact same outfit as mine, and cradling it adds a narrative storytelling charm, delivering a fourth-wall-breaking cuteness. Second is a very unique long-handled umbrella printed with white butterfly patterns; its design highlight lies at the bottom metal sword hilt, making it double as a prop weapon and an easy posing tool to enrich composition. Additionally, in one of the photos, I held a 2026 New Year themed pillow; its red-and-white linear pattern carries a festive vibe, acting as a cute easter egg in this photo set.

The shooting location was set in an open streetside space, where the rough ground texture paired with a soft plush rug created a pleasant visual contrast. The decals on the Itasha body were exquisitely detailed: retro purple and black rose motifs, alongside an anime graphic on the car door matching my look, completely dialed up the character ambiance during this Itasha check-in. Shot during the afternoon, outdoor lighting presented interwoven highlights and shadows; photographers Cai-ge and Wu-ming-zhi-bei focused heavily on balancing face details and shadow tones during capture—preserving soft facial highlights while controlling car body reflections so the background wouldn't steal the spotlight from the subject.

The shot holding the umbrella utilized flash lighting to darken background light and accentuate the subject, creating a striking contrast between long purple hair, white shirt, and dark tones for a quiet yet mysterious visual tension. Other shots leveraged the soft quality of natural light for close-up interactions holding the doll and pillow, where my expressions felt more relaxed. The cool, elegant, and subtly mysterious qualities of this styling were thoroughly demonstrated through these shifts in scene angles and lighting.
