[Xiao Qiao Cosplay] Pink Battle Armor in the Sun: Honor of Kings Outdoor Restoration

This look is visually striking in color; bright magenta easily grabs passersby's attention in well-lit outdoor environments. Before heading out, I specifically re-processed the wig—the fluffy double buns weren't just tied up casually, but supported inside with padded roots to make the buns look rounder and fuller, creating a very fresh Anime cosplay feel paired with straight bangs.

For makeup, I chose a clear and translucent look this time, focusing on the contour of the eye makeup paired with light-colored contact lenses suitable for daylight, making the eyes look bright with a hint of innocence. The lip color utilized a glossy peach shade to avoid overly heavy colors taking attention away from the outfit.

The dark-patterned fabric texture is something I'm very pleased with; this jacquard-like texture renders with great quality in photos. The dark brown halter choker makes the neck and shoulder lines look more slender. The detachable puff sleeves actually test arm posing quite a bit; holding them too close to the body looks bulky, so I intentionally kept distance between my arms and torso during shooting to let airiness show through.

The asymmetrical lower body styling is personally my favorite highlight. One white and one pink over-the-knee sock paired with red bow buckles at the upper thigh feature skin-tight fabric that clearly outlines leg contours. Matched with platform pink high heels in the same color tone as the skirt, every glance captures a continuous color extension, creating a strong sense of unity.

In terms of pose selection during shooting, I deliberately tried more single-leg balance and crouching poses. For example, the pose with one foot resting on an outdoor wooden bench showcased the thick heel and platform details of the shoes while stretching the calf to look visually taller. Furthermore, the red straps wrapping around the legs created a geometric 3D feel under the sunlight's shadows.

Yellow flowers were blooming beautifully at the outdoor location; naturally scattered green leaves and flower bushes acted as foregrounds that blurred into soft color blocks. The photographer intentionally used a wide aperture to blur background buildings and greenery, creating a great warm-cold contrast between pure pink and yellow.

Shooting this type of character requires a strong sense of vitality because the garment itself is fluffy and paired with double buns; if expressions or movements are too relaxed, the overall look turns stiff or blank. Thus, I did my best to maintain a lively, interactive state, such as reaching out toward the camera or making playful gestures. Reviewing the photos, dynamic swaying skirts and puff sleeves captured on camera indeed imparted a lively, agile atmosphere to the images.

Today's lighting conditions were exceptionally good; sunlight filtering through treetops formed light flecks on the costume, accentuating the luster of the dark patterns. Without excessive post-processing adjustments, natural light on-site alone was already very flattering. Stepping back into this Xiao Qiao look gave me a different kind of fun in Coser daily life during outdoor shooting.
