[Yumemizuki Mizuki Cosplay] Genshin Impact New Character's Japanese-Style Outfit Sharing

This photoshoot was for Yumemizuki Mizuki's casual outfit; I've wanted to try capturing this character's vibrant energy for a long time. The overall costume is dominated by light pink and white, paired with a light blue wig and pointed elf ear accessories, attempting to recreate that dreamy atmosphere of the character.

The wide white ruffed hair accessory on top combined with a purple bow serves as a great visual balance. The shoulder and sleeve design of the outfit adopts a spacious modified Japanese-style outfit silhouette, where the off-the-shoulder cut paired with black lace-up bows possesses both anime delicacy and comfortable wearability. The purple swirl patterns at the cuffs and lower hem are eye-catching details, and this color scheme looks remarkably soft under outdoor light.

During shooting, I brought a paper fan printed with a pale crescent moon pattern. Holding it during upper-body close-ups enriched the posing options nicely. In the first photo, there are purple fairy mascots added in post-processing holding milk bottles; this setup adds a narrative feel to the image. Even though they were added in editing, space was intentionally reserved in front during framing.

The shooting location was chosen by the waterside in a natural park; sitting by the rocks, the cool-toned light blue wig formed a unique contrast with the vibrant green trees around. For makeup, I slightly emphasized the eye makeup, paired with reddish-brown colored contact lenses to make my gaze look more focused. The decorative knot and small metal pendant at the waist added texture and layering to the costume, preventing the overall ensemble from feeling plain.

Regarding this Genshin Impact character's cosplay experience, I paid special attention to material selection. The outer coat fabric is quite lightweight, suitable for summer Outdoor photography. The semi-off-the-shoulder look actually tests undergarment coordination, while the white inner layer and pleated skirt hem were handled naturally, forming appropriate layers. For the lower body, pure white short socks were paired with black-soled geta clogs; while this footwear required extra care regarding standing angles during shooting, sitting allowed me to effortlessly show the extending leg lines.

In this shooting experience, wearing the elf ears was relatively simple; once put on, combined with the curve of the hairstyle, the ear tips peeked out right between the hair strands. The opening angle of the fan was also adjusted, utilizing diffuse reflection of natural light during shooting to illuminate the arms and shoulder area, making the skin texture look clearer and more translucent.

Since the traveler is mentioned in descriptions, my outfit indeed has many small details that fit travel scenes. During shooting, whether leaning against thick tree trunks or sitting on large boulders by the water, the costume's sleeves and skirt corners draped naturally, creating a great sense of movement. When light breezes blew through the wig, the captured snapshots turned out very natural. This travel Casual cosplay style is actually more appealing than deliberately staged atmospheres.

Cosplaying characters from the Genshin Impact series presents the main challenge of capturing their vivid vitality. Yumemizuki Mizuki has rich design elements, blending a classical fan with modern everyday fashion. From putting on hair accessories to seeing the final photos, the entire process was deeply enjoyable. Although the costume's multi-layered skirt required careful walking, the final photo results were genuinely satisfying.
