[Xiao Yu cosplay] Non-Human convention photos in a green outfit coordination

This Xiao Yu costume is mainly themed in mint green and off-white, visually giving a very fresh feeling. To restore the character's traits, the wig was chosen in a light golden twin-tail style, with iron wire support inside the plush bunny ear hair ornaments on top of the head, well maintaining a three-dimensional shape. Next to the hair ornaments are green ribbons and small white flowers, coupled with transparent tooth-like decorations, making the detail layers extremely rich. The clothing material uses fabric with subtle hidden patterns, the skirt hem features multi-layered ruffles, and the brown bows and straps at the waist and skirt hem increase visual contrast. The brown criss-cross straps from chest to waist fit the body shape, and a plush tail is also sewn on the back-side, which sways slightly when walking.
In terms of props, the giant weapon held in hand was specially custom-made, covered with lightweight material on the surface, making it not too tiring to hold up for posing over long periods. The top of the weapon is a flat hammer-like shape, with colors echoing the clothes, wrapped in green and white ribbons. A bright green apple model was placed on the ground at the shooting site to enhance color echo in the frame. The leg outfit adopts brown knitted leg warmers, with off-white lace and button decoration at the top, paired with platform wood-grained shoes and bows, making the overall proportions look very harmonious.
The roof of the venue on the day of the convention features a wavy light-transmitting shed, and the natural light spilling down is very soft, but the background crowds are relatively dense. To avoid the crowds, the photographer chose a slightly low-angle shot, which better isolates the figure from the background while elongating the leg lines. The action on the hands actually requires a certain amount of core strength support; to maintain the balance of the weapon, while standing I deliberately placed my center of gravity on one leg with the other leg slightly leaned forward, which can showcase a more tension-filled posture in front of the lens.
The makeup part heavily highlighted the eye contours, with slightly elongated eye tails, matched with light-colored contact lenses to fit the character's lively feel. The base makeup kept clear and translucent, without using heavy contouring, matching the on-site lighting to look relatively natural. The wig bangs were thinned and set to prevent blocking vision or curling up when walking outdoors.
The entire shooting process actually tests endurance because the skirt hem is quite fluffy, and a slight carelessness would lead to hitting nearby props or passersby. Fortunately, the clothing's cut is relatively fitting, so larger movements don't feel tight. This time, to better restore the character's temperament, a lot of time was spent on details; whether it's the clothing textures or the placement of props, we tried our best to match the setting. Being able to leave this set of pictures in such a large venue, the overall lighting and composition both reached the expected results.
