Wearing this blue and white sailor uniform dress, putting on the iconic mechanical bunny ear hair accessory and long white hair, I feel like I've truly become that Laffey who can never seem to wake up. This photoshoot really captured Laffey's lazy and slightly dazed feeling perfectly, especially the shots of holding a large torpedo body pillow and carrying a small plate of carrots; the prop details are fully maximized. During post-processing, I intentionally preserved the metallic texture of the mechanical wings, but the overall color grading leans towards a cool, dreamy blue tone, aiming to recreate the atmosphere where sci-fi elements and a girly vibe intertwine in Azur Lane. Actually, every time I do a Laffey cosplay, it takes a long time to adjust the angle of the wig's bangs and the mechanical ear accessories, because even a slight deviation affects the accuracy. Whether lying on the carpet hugging the torpedo or sitting with curled legs looking up at the camera during the shoot, I did my best to simulate her lazy yet dependable traits. I also brought a small yellow penguin plushie, which counts as a rigging soulmate, I guess. You probably can't imagine the weight of this costume and the mechanical wings; we rested several times during the shoot, but seeing the blue gleam and the red pupil effect in the final photos made it all feel worth it. Being able to present my favorite game character through cosplay and complete the post-processing myself gives me a real sense of achievement. I hope to explore more of Laffey's different expressions in the future, such as her combat state or the cute moments when she eats carrots.
