[Hoshizora Rin cosplay] Love Live! Birthday Greeting Recording, the Bond of the Energetic Little Cat

This time, the preparation was mainly for Haixi's birthday greeting recording, and I finally got Hoshizora Rin's live performance outfit arranged. As a fan of μ's, especially having a deep emotional attachment to the unit lily white, being able to complete this set of recordings with everyone this time made me feel like the bond belonging to LLW was back. Because it was a birthday greeting video, I put extra effort into the preparation stage, trying my best to restore that energetic yet slightly retro little-star style, from the clothing details to the accessory selection. The wig was trimmed several times; to achieve that fluffy yet playful short hair effect, a lot of thought went into handling the hair ends. The makeup also intentionally emphasized an energetic feel. Besides the iconic green contact lenses, I added a small teardrop sticker at the corner of the eye, paired with a star hairpin, hoping to get closer to Rin's cat-like agile feel. The star bow at the neckline and the glossy blue-green material on the sleeves have great reflective effects under the lights, perfectly fitting the live performance outfit setup.
On the day of the shoot, my state wasn't particularly good. I've been too busy with work lately and carried a strong work-exhaustion vibe, constantly worrying that I might be too exhausted and lead to going out of character due to poor condition. During the shoot, I kept chanting in my heart to show an energetic and cheerful side, trying to hide that work-induced fatigue. To match the birthday greeting theme, yellow balloons, HAPPY BIRTHDAY letters, and rows of chibi Rin figures were arranged in the shooting scene—looking at them was truly super healing. The plush figure in my palm was also custom-made, echoing the color scheme of the outfit, which gave me more confidence during shooting interactions. For the shot in front of the bench reaching out to do an introductory gesture, I was a bit tense at first, but seeing that row of cute figures in the lens, my mood relaxed along with it. When taking group photos together, nine people wearing different yet unified-style live performance outfits, holding figures in their hands, that visual impact and team spirit were truly irreplaceable.
Although I've often self-deprecatingly joked that I might find it hard to cosplay such energetic little-cat characters in the future—after all, with age and work stress increasing, my physical energy and spirit might not be as abundant as before—this time for the birthday greeting, I still gave it my all to present the best state. I tried hard to maintain a smile in front of the lens, keeping that vibrant image. This is probably the charm of cosplay: no matter how tired you are in reality, as long as you put on this outfit and stand in front of the lens, you can briefly become that sparkling her in another dimension. Being able to complete the birthday greeting recording with everyone this time was truly wonderful, a deeply unforgettable experience, and I once again felt the atmosphere of everyone striving together for the same hobby. This cosplay experience also made me realize that even with heavy work exhaustion, passion can conquer all fatigue.
