This shoot of Honoka Kosaka's dancer unawakened costume may look simple at first glance, but it is actually packed with details. The top features a color-blocked design in off-white and light green with orange floral embroidery across the chest. To recreate that airy, weightless feel of the original design, I prepared sheer chiffon sleeves, paired with golden armbands and bangles around my wrists and upper arms. The beige bow at the waist and decorative bands patterned with geometric prints were also ironed and arranged piece by piece myself. For the wig, I selected a vibrant, high-brightness orange tone, spending considerable effort trimming and styling it, matched with blue contact lenses in hopes of bringing out that boundless, lively aura.

Since the original card art incorporates orange motifs, I deliberately brought sunflowers as key props. The vivid yellow of the sunflowers echoed the orange hair and the floral embroidery on the garment, creating a brilliantly rich color palette set against the white background and Roman column props. To add playful variety to the composition, I also attempted the pose balancing three hardcover books on my head. This was honestly a true test of core balance—the books were quite heavy and could slip off with the slightest lapse in focus, so I held my breath throughout the pose while extending my left arm outwards to project an effortless, composed demeanor. Because this outfit features a cropped midriff style alongside the sheer sleeves, I had to keep my abdominal muscles firmly engaged throughout the entire session. Using that much continuous core strength over several hours of shooting definitely took a toll on my stamina.

The shoot was scheduled for 2:00 PM, and the studio lighting was set up very evenly to emulate a naturally bright, sunlit quality, leaving the rendered skin tone beautifully translucent. Two in the afternoon was ideal for ample illumination, and my personal energy was naturally hyped up as well. As soon as the camera started rolling, I pulled my biggest, brightest smile and locked that vibrant sparkle in my eyes, because this styling and the character herself radiate an intensely infectious joy.

Every single action during this shoot was executed with utmost dedication. Whether leaping into the air holding the sunflower for dynamic action shots or standing steadily beside the Roman column to maintain graceful balance, I strove to channel the sun-kissed spirit of an Energetic girl. The garment's hanging sashes and sheer sleeves fluttered with gorgeous grace during movement, so I consciously amplified my limb gestures during continuous shutter bursts. The wig frequently got disheveled in motion; after finishing every sequence, I would turn to the mirror to readjust the bangs and the curve of the sideburns, ensuring every angle retained high visual polish.

To me, cosplaying is far more than just slipping into a pretty costume or putting on a wig; it is about immersing oneself into the character's emotions and expressions of that very moment.
