Putting on this Xishi 2.0 outfit from SanFenWangXiang, my very first impression is that the fabric is light and sheer, making it perfect for outdoor shoots in summer. This time it's paired with GL Guli's matte stockings. To be honest, cosplay outfits often have leg-baring settings, so choosing the right base layer is genuinely important. The matte texture of these stockings is very pleasing; it doesn't give off an oily reflection, and the concealment is quite good—the sun tan lines and slight redness on my legs are pretty much completely covered, making my skin tone look more even and natural. I was initially worried whether white-toned socks would clash with the blue and white color scheme of the clothing, but on my legs, it actually turned out looking sharp and clean, visually elongating the leg lines. The blue and white gradient and silver edge decorations of this costume are rich in details; the sheer mesh sleeves on the arms give a bit of a floating feel when walking, and when combined with how well the stockings fit, the overall styling feels highly layered. The tassels and cross elements of the headpiece also add to the character's ethereal vibe. Although there are many accessories, as long as you find good lighting during the shoot, a flash of the strobe light makes it very easy to capture that soft atmosphere. As a coser, what matters most during daily fittings and photoshoots is the fit and the corrective effect. The matte stockings tried out this time are indeed a plus—they don't steal the spotlight while letting the costume itself stand out more. Keeping this refreshing color palette will also make future photoshoot bookings much more hassle-free.
