[Citlali cosplay] Genshin Impact Cute Character Fitting: Sparkly Fabric Hits All the Right Notes

Let's talk about my Citlali cosplay fitting experience from Genshin Impact. The version released by Mangu definitely didn't disappoint me; I fell in love with it at first sight when it was released and ordered it immediately. After receiving the physical item, I was most satisfied with the fabric texture. That light purple satin material comes with a subtle pearlescent shine under the light, delightfully sparkling just as I had anticipated. Since the official original design has quite a lot of elements, my biggest concern was looking bulky when wearing it. However, after putting it on, I found that its built-in structure and layering are very reasonable. I didn't even add a petticoat, yet the natural drop of the skirt hem and the curve formed by overlapping layers were already quite full, making the overall look feel very light and nimble.

The headpiece is also a point I really love—black and white coloring paired with mechanical decorations featuring tiny eye accents. Wearing it over long straight pink gradient wig hair matches the twin-tail styling just right. Although she is reputed to be a "granny" level character, acting cute with twin tails creates a delightful gap moe contrast, so there's no need to worry about looking old at all. Regarding accessories, the white long sleeve covers and leg covers are both dotted with purple and pink diamond patterns; the printing is crisp and the stitching is neat, without any cheap plastic feel.

Those super exaggerated big white fluffy shoes on her feet are absolutely the soul of the entire cosplay outfit. The wide soles, featuring pink markings and gold metallic decorations on the front, lower the visual center of gravity after putting them on, making me look extra fluffy and cute. For this cosplay fitting, I specifically paired it with a matching large white fluffy plush cushion. I thought holding a prop would make posing difficult, but during mirror selfie shots, I realized this cushion can serve as a prop to strike poses or be easily held in one arm, perfectly recreating the character's lazy yet charming gap moe traits.

In these selfie photos, I tried my best to showcase every detail of the costume: standing poses with the cushion set down so everyone can see the full-body cosplay outfit clearly, as well as posed shots hugging the huge cushion to demonstrate three-dimensional depth from all angles. I think the biggest advantage of a mirror selfie is being able to adjust standing posture and arm angles at any time. Through different movements, the blue and white geometric lines of the skirt hem and pink tassel pendants can be highlighted. The lace ruffled cuffs of the sleeves and the deep purple large bow on the chest are also handled with great dimension, and the rhinestone decorations on top shine brightly in front of the lens.

This was completely a relaxed home cosplay fitting experience. After putting it on, I felt the costume had very little restraint on the body; whether raising my arms or making slightly larger movements, the clothes didn't easily lose their shape. The overall color scheme is dominated by light purple and white, complemented by dark blue and pink accents, creating a vibrant young-girl feel while aligning with the character's original cool-toned base. Carefully adjusting accessories at home bit by bit and capturing satisfying results was a deeply fulfilling process in itself. All in all, this was a very delightful cosplay fitting experience, and Mangu's material choice and craftsmanship truly made me feel it was worth every penny.
