For this Azur Lane Janus cosplay photoshoot, a lot of preparations were made early on regarding the details of the costume and accessories. The long straight blue hair and the white off-the-shoulder multi-layered ruffled minidress are the character's core visual elements. The white flower neck ornament on the neck and the lace sleeves on the forearms all needed to be matched very precisely to present a lightweight yet gorgeous effect.

The first key prop on the day of the shoot was this golden staff. The crescent moon shape at the top of the staff, the radiating spikes, and the embedded blue crystal-textured sphere, along with the draped red ribbons, felt quite substantial in hand. While taking photos, I needed to adjust the grip strength and angle to avoid a stiff posture.

For the scene layout, we extensively used white semi-transparent tulle to stack the drapery, creating a dreamlike atmosphere as if being in the clouds or a fairyland. The surrounding white Roman columns, black European-style birdcages, along with the specially prepared blue-and-white bouquets and scattered blue flowers, formed a color harmony with the overall white-and-blue theme. The dark blue ring box in Photo 4 was also a nice little visual touch.

The lighting and photography style this time leaned toward a pure, high-key style, hoping to completely express the transparency of the environment. I am quite satisfied with the upright staff-holding posture in Photo 1, which perfectly and clearly showcases the layers of the skirt hem, the lines of the white stockings background, and the details of the staff. After taking the sitting pose and taking off my shoes in Photo 2, I felt it was closer to the character's quiet and tranquil personality, while the side-sitting and cross-legged poses in Photos 3 and 4 made the overall temperament appear softer.

Huge thanks to the photography and post-processing team for their guidance and patience throughout, constantly adjusting the drape of the curtains, and meticulously handling the skin tone and ambient light and shadow in post-processing, making the originally white dress look enveloped in a soft halo texture. During the shoot, I kept contemplating Janus's angel-like guardian disposition, hoping that these final photos allow you in front of the screen to also feel this pure white healing power from Azur Lane. It was a very joyful cosplay photoshoot experience.
