[Bai Feng cosplay] Azur Lane Bai Feng, Light, Shadow, and Fabrics in the Japanese Room

I decided to do this Bai Feng cosplay because I really love her aloof yet slightly lazy temperament. This outfit is from Paw Box, and when I got my hands on it, I was amazed by the texture of the fabric and the touch of the details. Bai Feng's costume design is highly layered; the main body is an elegant white, but the black lace patchwork at the neckline and chest, along with the metallic decorations around the waist, give the overall visual a sense of weight. The wig features a twin-tail look; I specially adjusted the curvature of the bangs and sidelocks to match the white feather hair accessory on top of my head, hoping to recreate the character's charm.

The shoot took place in a Japanese tatami room, where the red and black screen and the warm yellow floor lamp created an atmosphere that fit perfectly. The sitting posture in the first picture was actually a snapshot taken right after I changed into the outfit before I had fully entered the state, but I unexpectedly felt that the naturally relaxed state suited the character's personality well. The second photo is a high-angle shot of me sitting cross-legged on a futon cushion. Trying to restrain my expressions, I am quite satisfied with that feeling of quiet gazing.

Bai Feng's setting integrates many Eastern elements, so I matched the makeup with slightly reddish eyeshadow at the outer corners of the eyes as a tribute to the character's color scheme. Throughout the shooting process, I kept paying attention to the coordination of hand gestures and props; for instance, when pulling up the cuffs, the draped texture of the sleeves also needed to be well-controlled.

The process of shooting and sharing photos is actually a journey of constant mutual adjustment with the character and the costume. Through this shoot, I gained a deeper understanding of Bai Feng. I hope this set of photos can deliver the character's unique charm through Anime-style photography.
