This time, I am bringing everyone a Castorice cosplay from Honkai: Star Rail for this Cosplay photoshoot. This costume has many details—the bow on the chest, the black cutout petals at the collar, as well as the gradient blue and unique cut of the skirt hem. The moment I put it on, I felt an instant immersion into the character. To recreate that lightness and mystery, a lot of effort was also put into the trimming and layering of the wig to ensure a naturally flowing texture in front of the lens.
The venue selected was a space with a touch of sacredness yet soft atmosphere, paired with large areas of purple and pink floral arrangements. The lighting was dominated by diffused soft light, which beautifully echoes the atmosphere of "ethereal dreams fluttering," making one look as if they have completely fallen into a butterfly dreamscape. While holding the iconic long-handled scythe prop, I intentionally adjusted my center of gravity and experimented with several different poses. The final photos present a gentle beauty while preserving the character's unique cool detachment.
In post-processing, the color grading mainly leaned toward low-saturation, high-quality purple-blue tones, preserving the clothing's original drape and luster. It avoids overly exaggerated ethereal qualities, focusing more on realism and exquisiteness. I hope everyone enjoys this work filled with a dreamlike atmosphere for this piece of Anime-style photography.
