[Albion Cosplay] Azur Lane Albion Cosplay Convention Photos: Exciting Recaps from Meng 20 ACG Expo

Today I sorted out a set of Convention photos recaps from Meng 20 featuring Albion from Azur Lane, recording my shooting state and costume details from that day.

Regarding the overall outfit, I chose pure white as the primary palette for a crisp visual effect. The garment design is a modified white long dress with a halter neckline that beautifully elongates shoulder and neck contours. Traditional Chinese frog buttons accent the collar, while delicate lace embroidery textures cover the fabric surface, creating a soft, layered feel under event lighting with semi-transparent lace elements. The skirt features an irregular side high slit, paired with lace-trimmed White thigh-highs and white platform high heels, visually elongating lower body proportions. Honestly, walking around the convention in this outfit and shoes made my feet ache, but preserving the character's elegant, airy charm makes every effort worthwhile.

For accessories and hair/makeup, Elf ears cosplay details serve as the key to conveying character signatures; I specifically picked ear pieces with good skin translucency for a seamless fit. The wig is sleek pure white long straight hair accented with a pinkish-white petal hairpiece on the side, adding soft color contrast to the monochrome look. The matching round fan prop features pink prints and elegant white tassels, blending harmoniously with the serene atmosphere. To balance the composition, I struck a pose with one leg raised onto a wooden stool, showcasing leg lines naturally without feeling stiff.

As for the shooting environment, we took photos inside a large exhibition hall. Foreground props utilized a traditional Chinese wooden round stool flanked by a pale cyan ice-glaze ceramic vase holding white blossoms on the left, and a potted white orchid beside a warm-toned Chinese lantern on the right. Under cool overhead venue lights, these foreground elements created a warm-cool color contrast against the pure white costume, enriching depth. Though blurred, industrial ceiling beams and circular ceiling lights conferred a unique blend of reality and character portrayal.

Convention photos differ from studio shoots due to complex ambient lighting; balancing venue overhead lights with photographer fill lights required controlling blown-out white highlights on the dress and fine-tuning white balance to deliver authentic event immersion without distortion. High foot traffic made the venue noisy, demanding high stamina and mental focus to maintain posed concentration. While holding my foot raised on the stool, my leg muscles were aching, yet I maintained tension and breath control for the camera. Massive thanks to the photographer on-site for snapping such a natural, graceful composition amid dense crowds.

Preparing for this Albion cosplay took significant time—from wig trimming and outfit detail tweaks to prop selection—striving to match the original character. Since it was not a studio shoot, background event elements lent authentic realism to the set. Dark polished floor tiles reflected overhead light spots, giving natural environmental lighting that felt unforced compared to pure set pieces.
