The convention photos this time have finally come out! Actually, during the shoot, my state was a bit at the limit because walking in high heels all day meant my feet were practically done for. Just then, I spotted a folding ladder in the corner. After discussing it with the photographer Fengli, we decided to just sit down and shoot—yay, my wrecked feet could finally rest for a bit.

Speaking of this Tooth Fairy cosplay outfit, for the clothing, I chose a grey-black long trench coat, inner-layered with a reddish-brown fine vertical striped dress, cinched at the waist with a thin black leather belt. For the lower body, I wore the most basic black stockings and black high-heeled strappy shoes. Even though we shot sitting down, to elongate the leg lines in front of the lens, the angle of crossing legs and the degree of pointing the instep really required repeated adjustments. The black leather gloves on both hands not only increased the sense of mystery but also felt extra immersive when holding that glowing glass jar prop. The faint light from that jar shining on my face, paired with the dimly lit environment of the venue, truly gave off the vibe of being in a mysterious space.

Aside from the jar, that glowing black disc prop was also a major highlight this time. When holding it, the photographer asked me to let my gaze unfocus a bit, aiming for that ethereal yet slightly melancholic feeling. That silver metal wire prop near the chin was also a bit troublesome; wearing it for too long gets a bit tight, and it easily catches on the hair. Also, I didn't realize here that my sideburns weren't tucked behind my ears; please forgive me for this inaccuracy, and next time I cosplay this, I'll definitely pay attention to this detail and style the hair more perfectly.

Convention photos don't have as much time for meticulous refinement of light and shadow like formal sets; often, they rely on the venue's lighting and the props' own light sources. For example, that black background was actually just a relatively clean area found at the convention venue, using a large aperture and flash to darken the surrounding messy environment, concentrating the visual center entirely on the character and the golden light-rail effects. The floating moths and light-rail effects were added in post-processing, but they greatly enriched the fantasy feel of the picture, making the overall look more textured.

Although they are just convention photos without ultra-large sets, I'm already super happy to be able to present a set of pictures like this in such an environment. Sitting on the ladder actually tests core strength quite a bit; to avoid falling backward, my waist and back were secretly exerting force the whole time. Thanks to teacher Fengli for making me look so good, and hard work to the post-processing team for handling these details.
