For this shoot, the outfit featured a crimson long-sleeved shirt accented with golden cuff buttons and an exaggerated black multi-tiered ruffled bow tie at the chest, paired on the lower half with a high-waisted black pleated skirt featuring intricate golden metallic hardware. To align with the character's overall visual presence, I paired it with opaque wine-red Red stockings and black platform Mary Janes. For the wig, I selected silver-white long curls with blunt bangs, embellished on the left side with a star-shaped hair accessory featuring red tassels. Coordinated with red color contacts, my entire aura transformed immediately in this Ishtar Cosplay.

In terms of props, the golden elongated key pendant held in my hand served as the crowning touch of the entire look. While shooting, I tried resting my left hand on my hip while raising my right hand high to pinch the prop. This pose both showcased the tailoring of the outfit and brought out the character's slightly haughty and confident demeanor. After all, according to the lore, when facing that golden guy—Gilgamesh—one must maintain an absolute position of superiority. To master this demeanor, I dedicated substantial effort to facial expression control; my gaze needed to stare directly into the lens, projecting a calm yet profoundly piercing gaze in this Fate/strange Fake cosplay.

Special thanks to the photographer's camera direction for this shoot. The first set of half-body close-ups utilized softer lighting, where circular background bokeh and a moody, low-key setting gave the red-and-black contrast a richer texture, primarily accentuating facial makeup and the tiers of the bow tie. The second set of full-body shots adopted an entirely different lighting scheme: a powerful spotlight from behind created a striking rim light, making the edges of the silver-white wig glisten brilliantly. The full-body framing also allowed me to better display the curve of the skirt hem and leg lines. Because the wine-red Red stockings had a subtle sheen under intense light, to avoid looking bulky in the frame, I deliberately tightened my leg muscles and stood slightly turned sideways, visually elongating leg proportions.

When shooting scenes inside convention venue halls, backgrounds often tend to be cluttered. We used a wide aperture to blur the background, retaining silhouettes of passing attendees and venue architecture so as to convey the setting without overpowering the subject. Every time I take on such an intensely fantasy-themed character concept, everything from straightening garments and holding props to keeping my eyes unblinking under harsh lighting is an immense test of stamina and focus. In particular, the metallic prop in hand, though not massive, required continuous arm muscle tension to be steadily pinched between fingertips with the arm suspended in the air.

Still, seeing all these details cleanly captured in the finished photos made all the exertion completely worthwhile. The fabric texture, the transition of light and shadow, and that sensation of being completely immersed in the character's persona were all captured flawlessly in this cosplay.
