[Klee Cosplay] Genshin Impact Little Witch Shenzhen Game Show Convention Photos

This set of convention photos was shot during the Shenzhen International Game Show, taking the opportunity of attending the expo to complete and share this Genshin Impact Klee Cosplay client set. The overall photo set continues my previous bright and clean color tone, striving to highlight the character's dynamic charm amidst a complex convention environment. Short blonde hair paired with red contact lenses focuses heavily on defining the eye contours in makeup, preserving the character's signature lively and playfully subtle temperament. The oversized red-and-white pointed brimmed hat makes a strong silhouette statement, casting a localized shadowing effect under indoor convention lighting that enhances facial dimension. The entire outfit follows a red, black, and white color-block palette; the large black lace lapel collar on the chest adds a touch of vintage flair, while rich details on the center bow tie and necktie ornaments deliver solid texture when captured through lenses with appropriate focal lengths.

Holding the red-and-white plushie prop during the shoot helped soften any stiffness in standing poses, whether standing on one leg or waving. The upper body's white shirt with a black collar, paired with a broad red waist sash, creates a clear waistline definition. Shooting convention photos on-site means handling various unexpected situations, such as passersby walking through the background; fortunately, the photographer utilized a wide aperture effectively to blur the background cleanly while retaining a touch of the venue's depth and soft silhouetted figures. For the lower half, I opted for a White thigh-highs outfit featuring lace tights paired with black platform Mary Jane shoes. The ankles of the white lace socks feature red criss-cross ribbon bows, perfectly creating a visual color echo with the red accents on the skirt hem and keeping the visual focal point light even on the hall's dark flooring.

Regarding poses, I tried many energetic moments, such as balancing on one leg while kicking the other back, or clasping my hands together in front of my chest. Since the wide-brimmed hat and skirt take up a significant visual proportion in this outfit, extending leg movements effectively balanced the overall composition. During shooting, we made good use of the venue's deep blue reflective floor, which cast a subtle lower-body reflection, adding spatial depth to the frame. Focus was kept steadily around the eyes, preserving the luminous glow of the red contacts without fading under mixed venue lighting. I also paid close attention to the transition details between gloves and cuffs; the black fingerless gloves made fingers appear much sleeker when raising a hand. The shoot lasted around an hour, interspersing rests and makeup touch-ups to keep the wig and bangs from getting messy from sweat or dramatic movements. The Shenzhen Game Show definitely drew a massive crowd, so capturing clean shots in such an environment relied heavily on positioning and catching the light.

While convention foot traffic posed challenges, it also heightened the authentic atmosphere. The photographer experienced enough to bypass crowds found a relatively quiet zone near the edge of the booths. To capture as many angles as possible, we switched between squatting, standing, and interacting with the plushie. Sometimes, waiting for a moment with no passersby or ideal lighting meant holding a pose for several seconds, testing body stability and facial control. Luckily, the base makeup adhered well, showing no obvious fading despite continuous activity in the somewhat muggy hall; complemented by supplementary ambient light, the overall complexion remained radiant. The metallic texture of golden trinkets and bows on the skirt looked fascinating under the lights, breaking the monotony of large solid red fabric blocks. Although there were many other cosplayers and visitors, the lens focused primarily on showcasing the little witch herself, emphasizing hairstyle, garments, and specific expressions. The flared skirt had a nice puffiness—the red-and-white color-blocked apron and flared red skirt swayed with natural grace under motion. The White thigh-highs outfit paired with black platform shoes not only elongated my height ratio but also softened leg contours. While the attire leans cute, clean styling retains a touch of daily vitality. During shooting, one must watch out for shading from the pointed hat; looking down too much hides most of the face under the brim, so keeping a slightly raised head or straight gaze throughout was intentional. Judging by the final photos, these on-site adjustments paid off nicely. Every character shoot brings details worth recording, and this red-and-white color palette paired with a lively, airy atmosphere stands as the defining feature of these Convention photos.
