During the National Day holiday, dressed in an Ace Taffy cosplay detective costume, I'm curled up as an e-sports girl in an E-sports chair playing video games. The pink keyboard on the desk is clicking away furiously, the PC tower beside me glows with cool RGB lighting, and Taffy's animated GIF is open on the screen in front of me. Today is all about slacking off; I have zero intention of accepting any commissions, and nobody is getting me out of this chair.

Raising the magnifying glass, I bet you, the one looking at this post right in front of the screen right now, are the prime suspect. This time I'm portraying Taffy's detective persona, and the costume's details are exceptionally well-executed. The heart-shaped goggles on top of my head are my favorite little accessory—black straps with gold frames, and the light blue lenses echo the pink twin-tails perfectly. The red tie at the collar is accented with gold gear decorations, accompanied by a white shirt, dark brown capelet, and belt, giving the entire uniform a solid, high-quality feel. The lower body features a blue-gray striped pleated skirt, which I paired with Black stockings and dark brown buckled boots. The curve of the skirt hem is just right, allowing leg lines to be captured whether standing or sitting, and I'm very satisfied with the photo results.

This photoshoot was completed in a photo studio; special thanks to Dorothy for providing the scene and Hans for helping with post-processing. The entire room was decorated with many anime/2D elements—figure display cases, a pink E-sports chair, a glowing PC tower, and even a white cat paw on the desk, perfectly fitting the homebody gaming atmosphere. To strike that lazy state of not wanting to leave the house and just wanting to lie flat, I tried out several poses. Sitting in the chair supporting my chin with one hand, or leaning against the PC case close to the lens, it all felt pretty good. The magnifying glass and glowing props in my hands also added a touch of contrast between a detective and a gamer.

In terms of makeup, I intentionally intensified the pink eyeshadow and blush, paired with brown contact lenses to make the eyes look rounder. Combined with the pink curly wig, it gives off the distinct vibe of a little detective assistant. The wig was specially styled into low twin-tails tied with red ribbons on both sides, with many small details dedicated to faithfully restoring the character's traits.

Actually, once you put this outfit on, besides taking photos, it's also extremely comfortable for curling up in a chair to play games; taking off the outer jacket leaves you with a very daily-wear shirt and striped skirt. Posting these photos today is also a way to record the rare, leisurely vibe of the holiday. However, not long after sitting down, I couldn't help but start slacking off again—this detective job is definitely not being taken seriously enough. It's probably best to keep immersing myself in the game; after all, holidays wait for no one.
