This time, following friends from the photography club to do a shoot by the stream, the overall experience was very relaxing. The shooting location was chosen in a stream with clear water and a gentle current. The surrounding trees were very dense, providing great natural shading conditions. Even during the day, the light under the tree shade was very soft, without the need to deliberately fill in overly harsh backlight, making it very suitable for producing great photos.
In terms of styling, a classic dark blue Sailor suit paired with a white neckerchief was chosen. The hairstyle was tied into high Twintails, matched with blunt bangs, giving a strong youth-reducing feel. I carried a bright red backpack; the red and blue color blocking was very eye-catching in the green natural background, instantly establishing the visual focus. The lower garment was a pleated skirt, paired with dark gray translucent pantyhose, and Black stockings. Brown leather loafers were worn on the feet; to match the stream's atmosphere, the shoes were taken off and placed directly on a stone during shooting, stepping on the water barefoot or soaking in the water with stockings on, where the water refraction visually made the leg lines appear more slender.
During the shooting process, adjustments to sitting and standing postures largely determined the relaxation of the frame. For example, when sitting on a large rock in the middle of the riverbed, crossing legs or extending calves toward the water surface could effectively elongate the visual proportions. When standing in the shallow water area, the action of lifting the skirt hem with both hands was both natural and added dynamic feel to the frame. The camera's autofocus system was very reliable when capturing these movements, whether it was the splashes kicked up by stepping on the water or the moment of lowering the head to tidy shoes, it could accurately lock onto the eyes. It is recommended that when shooting in outdoor streams, try to make more use of leaves as foreground blur to increase the layering and depth of the frame.
Of course, shooting in such a natural environment requires extra attention to safety. The stones at the bottom of the stream are covered with moss, so walking in the water must be slow, trying to choose sandy and rocky places to land feet to prevent slipping and injury. At the same time, anti-mosquito measures should be taken, and attention should be paid to protecting photographic equipment to avoid being splashed by water.
