[Yuno cosplay] Quiet Blue-Toned Time in Wuthering Waves

Putting on this Yuno outfit, my first feeling was a coexistence of coolness and exquisiteness. The design of this character in Wuthering Waves is truly very meticulous. The blue-and-white color palette combined with large areas of metallic-textured decorations sets a high requirement for material accuracy when brought into reality. This time, a blue-toned coordination scene was specially set up, using a large number of white flowers paired with teardrop-shaped crystal props, aiming to create a dreamy atmosphere where the ocean and sky interweave. In terms of costume details, the obsidian gemstone at the neckline pairs with the golden feather patterns at the waist, adding layers that are both ethereal and weighted to the entire look. The wig chosen is a highly saturated bright blue, which gives a clear, translucent reflection under certain angles. For makeup, I specially adjusted the translucency of the foundation and the color relationship of the eye makeup, hoping to blend more naturally with the cool tones of the scene.

While shooting this set of photos, I kept trying to capture the character's aloof and cool demeanor, and the refraction of the crystals was truly a great bonus. I did a bit of subtraction with the props, choosing not to use too many complex heavy props, but instead showcasing the character's elegant lines through the light and shadow of the crystals and my body posture for this prop studio photography session. I really like sitting on the steps covered with faux flowers and grass in this outfit, as it gives the composition a stronger sense of translucency. The straps wrapped around my feet also beautifully recreate the athletic vibe from the game.

In handling the wig, to keep the twin tails fluffy yet flowing, I specifically used hair wax and setting spray, combined with internal wire support, to display that natural curve. For the gold-and-white bracers on my arms, I chose a pearlescent leather material with a slight distressed finish to enhance the minor wear-and-tear look of a combat character. Of course, the combination of white stockings and wrapped straps required repeated adjustments to achieve a crisp layered look while ensuring comfort, avoiding accidental exposure while maintaining a neat appearance on camera. During the shoot, the photographer specifically looked for some high-angle shots, combining them with a softbox on top to create an effect resembling moonlight cascading down. The small angel statue in the frame also became a nice touch, matching the overall atmosphere perfectly. The completion of this entire work is inseparable from the hard work of the makeup artist, photographer, and the behind-the-scenes crew who set up the venue. This feeling of immersively portraying a game character is truly thrilling, and I hope it conveys the unique clarity of this character.
