This Suisui styling is finally ready to show! Ever since the major patch concluded, I had been eagerly looking forward to this set of photos, and this time my schedule finally aligned with teacher Moumou. Upon receiving the outfit, my first impression was its abundance of intricate details and layered craftsmanship. The outer white overcoat drapes gracefully, with sleeves cut in black-and-grey color blocking and blue wave motifs, while the gold-and-black woven collar piece at the neck adds instant presence. To recreate that sharp yet light sensation from the concept art, I specifically styled the wig into a High ponytail with blunt bangs and sideburns in front, accented by a red hair tie to make the overall demeanor spirited and youthful. For makeup, to harmonize with the overall atmosphere, I deepened the pink tones of the eyeshadow, aiming to express the character's gentle yet determined spirit.

The set dressing on the day of the shoot was remarkably thoughtful. The massive circular lightbox behind me simulated a luminous full moon, complemented by white plum blossom branches reaching out from both sides and several warm yellow paper lanterns hanging on the right, instantly elevating the Chinese-style fantasy ambiance. A thick layer of smoke was laid across the floor, and when the lighting technician directed rim backlights through it, that hazy, ethereal aesthetic materialized immediately. Special thanks go to teacher Moumou's lens—his command of light and shadow is truly brilliant; every frame crisply captured the subtle jacquard weave and golden luster of the fabric with exceptionally warm, refined colors.

The prop team was equally meticulous. The translucent fan in hand, with its golden designs and dangling tassels, served as the crowning touch, while the black fan paired in another set added a touch of sharpness to an otherwise soft look. To accompany this attire, I deliberately chose black pointed stiletto high heels. Because the dress features a fairly high slit, most of the shoot was spent seated in a traditional wooden horseshoe armchair. This required keeping my back upright while continually monitoring leg placement; holding the crossed-leg pose for visual grace definitely made my legs sore over time. Yet seeing the relaxed, elongated leg contours rendered in the final photos made obsessing over every detail entirely worthwhile.

While shooting this set, the thought kept echoing in my mind: "Without blade or sword in hand, one can still weave peace for the mortal realm." Suisui possesses a distinctive, profound serenity—there is no need for overt displays of force; simply sitting there, swaying a folding fan, projects a calm, steadfast confidence. That wish—"May the people prosper and all be in abundance, with clear seas and tranquil rivers"—felt naturally conveyed amid the scenic staging without needing a fierce glare, but merely by sitting quietly on the chair and looking into the lens to express that prayer for lasting peace.

The set design and lighting offered so many delightful surprises. In the finished shots, whether it was the silhouette outlined by rim lighting or the detailed contrast between the black gloves and golden accessories, I was thoroughly satisfied. Every photo preserved the flowing drape of the skirt and the delicate depth of the jacquard patterns. The entire shoot felt like bringing the initial vision in my mind step by step into reality, turning out even more stunning than anticipated. The art style of Wuthering Waves has always captivated me, and being able to personally wear Suisui's costume and capture such an atmospheric Ancient style photoshoot was a truly fulfilling creative experience.
