[Momoka Hanyuu cosplay] Arknights Energetic Girl Shooting Diary

Cosplaying Momoka Hanyuu this time took quite a bit of effort just styling the pink wig. To achieve fluffy twin tails with proper volume, I backcombed the roots and applied plenty of setting spray to maintain a firm, bouncy curve that wouldn't collapse easily. The tips of both tails were kept slightly curled, which, together with the textured fringe bangs, brought out immediate dimensionality. The heart-shaped sunglasses, white lace scrunchies, and pale blue hairpins atop the head are crucial accents; shifting their placement even slightly would throw off the entire visual balance.

Regarding the outfit, the layering is rich with detail. The light blue camisole features cloud and cartoon motifs, with white edge paneling adding freshness and white wing ornaments on the chest giving it a dimensional pop. To complement the silhouette, I matched light blue detached sleeves featuring eyelet polka dots, which flatter the arm lines while allowing completely unrestricted motion during posing. A blue-and-white polka dot choker and a delicate silver necklace nicely filled the neckline. For the lower half, a black multi-tiered ruffled miniskirt was paired with a bright orange star cutout belt, adding a vibrant splash of warmth that broke through the heaviness of the black skirt. A small blue-and-white plush doll hung from the skirt's hip, while the blue watch and wrist charms were carefully prepared down to the smallest detail, even matching my nails in light blue to tie the palette together.

As for props, a Transparent umbrella was indispensable. The transparent canopy created gorgeous light refractions, and holding the white curved crook handle made for striking photos. For makeup, reddish-brown contacts aligned with her visual traits, accented by deepened eyeshadow, defined lashes, soft pink blush on the cheeks, and glossy lips adorned with a small lip stud accent at the corner of the mouth to boost her playful charm.

The shoot took place in an indoor space with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. The lush outdoor greenery filtered through the glass like a natural softbox, casting beautifully clear, diffused light across the face. For posing, crouching flatteringly displayed the miniskirt and leg lines, while turning back allowed the long twin tails to swing into an elegant arc. When striking a standing peace sign, keeping the back straight and shoulders relaxed ensured a fluid, unforced posture before the camera. Throughout the session, I continuously adjusted my expressions to capture that cheerful yet subtly tsundere attitude. Bringing a beloved character to life—from early makeup trials to finalized shots—is full of joy, and I hope this set conveys that genuine passion.
