When crafting this Tashkent costume, the detail requiring the most care was the alignment of the silver chest lines. The base material of the black bodysuit needed just the right elasticity to maintain a snug silhouette during dynamic movements. The white plush stole served as the focal point of the overall look; I deliberately chose a version accented with black ribbon bows to anchor the visual balance within pure white. The wig featured a vivid bright purple, styled with blunt bangs and sidelocks faithful to her canon design to enhance dimension and layer depth.
The sunlight on the day of the shoot was phenomenal. @Radish_Yuan selected a studio featuring white windowpanes and floral trellises. Swings, sunflowers, and wisteria vines gathered together, evoking a dreamy backdrop that neatly softened the cool detachment of the black bodysuit. While seated on the swing, I continually adjusted my leg posture: the pairing of Black stockings and patent-leather high heels delivered a sleek, glossy texture under side-backlighting. To highlight this, the photographer dropped the camera angle lower to accentuate slender lines. Sitting with legs crossed on the swing brought out the subtle sheen of the stockings against the backlight. Hand gestures were kept relaxed, gently touching the choker pendant while the gaze carried that calm, slightly aloof distance.
Pose-wise, I avoided overly dramatic flourishes. In the first shot, holding the choker pendant between my fingers with a direct gaze into the lens aimed to capture a contemplative, lightly scrutinizing yet relaxed state. In the second shot, pulling the plush stole tighter with hands naturally folded and eyes trailing away from the lens cultivated a quiet, do-not-disturb ambiance. With every shutter click, I focused on feeling the bond between the costume and character. Within the game, Tashkent carries that distinct Northern Parliament coolness blended with an endearing, protective vulnerability. During shooting, I kept lively actions to a minimum, letting the eyes and subtle micro-movements communicate. Folding both hands close to the stole in the second photo reflected her quiet demeanor in cold northern climates.
Speaking of the Black stockings texture, opting for a matte finish prevented harsh specular bounce under flash, creating a beautiful tactile contrast against the glossy patent heels. The makeup deepened the eyeshadow blending to complement the purple hair, sculpting stronger facial dimension. Keeping the base makeup fresh and matte during an indoor studio shoot called for thorough, rock-solid setting steps. The entire shoot went smoothly, with our team syncing seamlessly across styling, posing, and lighting. Though the artificial greenery on set was inanimate, it served as an organic complement through the lens. By the end, the plush stole felt a bit warm, but reviewing the vivid frames on the camera display made every preparation worthwhile. Organizing the photo set and watching the purple locks and white plush stole interplay across the shifting light made for a truly gratifying creative journey.
