[Salter cosplay] Fate My King Salter studio shoot cosplay photoset sharing

This time, the studio shoot photoset for Salter was finally put on the schedule. Booked directly at Xingman Movie Studio, photography by He, and I portrayed Salter from Fate. From early preparation to the official shoot, the entire process was spent trying hard to restore the unique aura of this character.
A lot of effort went into the makeup and styling. To restore Salter's iconic image, the blonde wig with straight bangs was chosen, and that ahoge on top of the head was specially reinforced by the wig stylist to prevent it from collapsing midway through the shoot. Green colored contacts were paired with a slightly deep eye makeup look, with elongated eye ends, matched with red lips, bringing out a cool yet slightly lazy feel.
The costume is the highlight this time. This bright blue asymmetrical dress features a high-low cut that is particularly effective when sitting on a swing or lying down, with the train spreading on the white carpet looking very layered. Black lace and sequins are pieced together on the chest and waist sides, offering a very solid texture. To flatter the arm lines, black translucent mesh long gloves were paired, with lace trims at the upper ends of the gloves, echoing the lace choker at the neckline. The lower body features bare legs, with pearl anklets worn around the ankles, paired with blue pointed-toe red-bottomed high heels, maximizing the details.
The studio setting also helped a lot. The white iron swing frame was covered with blue-toned floral arrangements, including hydrangeas, daisies, roses, and blue ferns, with a background of blue sheer gauze drapery. The overall tone is extremely unified, and the collision of blue, white, and black is high-end without overshadowing the main subject. When the lighting hit, skin tone appeared very translucent, and even the satin luster of the clothes was captured clearly.
During the shoot, He was great at guiding emotions and capturing candid moments. Holding a goblet sitting on the swing, holding a blue rose leaning against the railing, or lazily lying on the white carpet—every pose sought out the most suitable angle. Especially the crossed-leg action while sitting on the swing visually elongates the leg proportions, matching Salter's elegant yet dangerous temperament. Because the light and shadow in the studio shoot are controllable, coupled with the high adaptability of the makeup/styling and the scene, the photo output rate was extremely high.
This shoot tried to achieve consistency as much as possible from clothing texture and prop matching to scene lighting and shadow. Next, I plan to retouch another set of face close-ups. This shoot was thoroughly enjoyable, and I hope to try more characters with different settings in the future.
