This white dress gown's tailoring actually heavily tests one's figure and posture; the cut of the shoulder straps and waistline needs to be just right to support that unique blend of heroism and gentleness inherent to My King. The wig uses light golden high-temperature fiber, and the large blue bow on top of the head is the finishing touch. To restore the character's iconic ahoge and sideburn curves, trimming and styling alone took quite a lot of time.

For the makeup, the eyeshadow was intentionally weakened, using clean eyeliner and a light pink lip color to highlight the coldness in the eyes. Paired with the long white gloves and collar, the overall visuals are closer to the classic design of the original work. During the shoot, a softbox was chosen for the lighting to illuminate the facial contours, making the satin reflection of the white dress look more natural without overexposure. Although the hem of this skirt easily wrinkles due to the material, the posture of lifting the skirt actually utilizes the wrinkles to add a dynamic feel. Combined with the details of the white high heels and lace leg rings, it can be considered an extended expression of the character's temperament.

Every time I do a Saber makeup look, I repeatedly adjust the eyebrow shape and eye spacing because her temperament needs to be majestic without losing a young girl's agility. This time, I tried a lighter base makeup to restore that clear, translucent feel from the CG in Fate/Grand Order. Actually, the most interesting part of cosplay is touching a personality from another world through clothing, makeup, hair, and expressions; even if it's just a momentary freeze-frame, it's enough to immerse oneself in it. I hope this set of photos can convey the image of the pure yet steadfast Knight King in my heart.
