For this Overwatch Kiriko cosplay shoot, our primary focus was exploring kinetic choreography and dark gothic styling. The shoot took place in a traditional tatami room with wooden lattice partitions and scattered golden autumn foliage, perfectly honoring Kiriko's Japanese shinobi heritage.
The silvery-white short wig was tied into a high ponytail with a cord, with carefully tousled fringe to simulate post-combat grit. To capture a cold, menacing aura, heavy dark eyeshadow contoured the eye sockets, finished with matte pitch-black lipstick. Her black kitsune fox mask was tilted on the side of the head, adding dimensional depth while ensuring incoming studio light remained unblocked. The dark slate-blue modified kimono top was cinched with a gold-patterned obi and rigid black leather corset. Fishnet Stockings paired with leather thigh straps and garter attachments accentuated leg length and sensual edge, accompanied by water-transfer arm tattoos, studded bracers, custom kunai, and a gold-inscribed folding fan.
Regarding Pose reference, capturing Kiriko's agile combat style required dynamic stances: low-crouched dashes, single-knee drops, and crossed-arm guard postures. In the forward-leaning low-angle take, keeping the kunai tight against the jawline required laser-focused intensity directed into the camera lens. Overhead high-angle shots demanded lifting the chin to accentuate the neckline and fishnet silhouette against warm lighting. Locking the core and carefully protecting the delicate fishnet Stockings on the rough tatami delivered a lethal, shadow-dwelling execution of this Overwatch Anime cosplay.
