The materialization and wearing of this costume were much more complicated than I imagined. Starting from the treatment of the wig, to present that natural gradient from light gold to cyan-green, the wig needed to be carefully set in sections, and the stray hair at the temples also needed meticulous trimming to fit the face shape. For the diamond-shaped glowing decoration on the forehead, the fixing structure on the back underwent many adjustments. Coupled with the golden hollow crown on top of the head, the weight is indeed not small, requiring constant attention to maintaining head posture during the shoot.

The focus of facial makeup lies in eye shaping. Blue-purple contact lenses matched with reddish-pink eyeshadow required multiple layers of blending at the outer corners of the eyes to capture that effect of being both aloof and radiant. The black lines on the collarbone and arms also required careful painting; the lines couldn't be too thick, otherwise they would look rigid. Wearing this entire outfit, including the metal-buckled collar around the neck, the white ruffled top, and the wide blue-and-white spliced sleeve covers, took quite a bit of time to adjust the wrinkles of each layer to ensure visual layering.

This shoot chose an indoor scene with a strong oriental style. The bamboo shadow wallpaper in the background, the hanging calligraphy scrolls, and the circular arch provided a great sense of space for the frame. The lanterns hanging on the right and the square floor lamp on the left provided very warm ambient light. To match this atmosphere, the photographer set up cooler fill light from the front, making the face stand out more in the dark-toned background, and the contrast between cool and warm, as well as light and dark, also gave the frame a stronger three-dimensional feel.

To showcase the character's dynamic beauty, many actions needed to be completed in a suspended state. Utilizing wires and core strength, I had to control body posture while allowing the skirt hem and semi-transparent cape to present a flying arc. The white knee pads, mechanical structure armor, and white high-heeled boots on the legs also had to constantly maintain an upright styling during movement. The leg armor connectors would pull the fabric during actions, requiring constant position adjustments to ensure smooth lines. The white crane sculpture next to it served as a great foreground embellishment, providing the frame with a stronger sense of depth through the perspective effect of the wide-angle lens.

Throughout the whole process, it wasn't just physical exhaustion, but more importantly, the control over details. From the reflective effect of the costume's material to the placement of props, every element served the overall atmosphere. Although maintaining suspended actions in the studio for a long time was somewhat tiring, seeing the effect presented in the lens made all the preparations and hassle completely worthwhile.
