For this Robin cosplay work, right from the early preparation stages, my team and I decided to do our best to recreate the character's holy, dreamy, and mysterious temperament. The silver-blue long hair paired with lightweight white wings is the core signature element of this look. To present the best visual effect, the stylist did a lot of research on wig color selection, finding a type of hair strand with an ice-blue gradient texture and texturing the hair ends to enhance post-shoot fluffiness. Regarding the costume, the blue-and-white patchwork design, the deep blue skirt hem with golden starlight embroidery, combined with the purple retro lantern sleeves, the exquisite dark choker, and the white gloves—every single small accessory strives to fit the character's setting.

In terms of choosing the shooting environment, we picked a studio space with a style leaning towards a "magical retro study." The scene was arranged with a dark carved wooden table, a black leather suitcase bearing traces of time, an antiqued red storage box, and yellowed papers and candles scattered across the tabletop. The stacking of these cluttered yet life-imbued props broke the monotony of a solid background, giving the frame more narrative foreshadowing worth savoring. The venue was provided by @Huiying Space, and the on-site atmosphere was perfectly achieved. The photographer made full use of the studio's natural cool light and strong side-backlight, creating a deep blue ambient undertone. This blue light hitting the plant leaves, character's hair, and white wings provided extremely rich light and shadow layers, making the character's silhouette stand out in the dark-toned environment.

The choice of shooting props was equally critical. The golden microphone is not only the visual focus of these photos but also directly echoes the character's identity setting as a singer. To add movement and fantasy elements to the frame, glowing butterfly special effects were specifically added in post-processing, giving the cold indoor environment a touch of fresh vitality. While trying different postures, I realized that body placement needs to balance both costume display and emotional expression. For instance, the moment I cradled the white dove, the finger movements had to be gentle and the gaze warm; while lifting the goblet, the shoulders needed to be naturally relaxed with a casual upward glance. In image 4, I intentionally placed one foot on the wooden box in the foreground. Combined with the blue strappy high-heeled single shoes, it not only unified the color with the dress but also visually extended the leg lines, which, paired with the drape of the skirt hem, beautifully portrayed the character's body proportions, creating a relaxed yet elegant sitting posture.

Cooperation during the Cosplay photography process is the key to producing high-quality work. Teacher @Chengdu Wugesu-Su Ziqing, who was responsible for post-processing this time, controlled the angles extremely precisely, never missing any tiny change in expression, and was highly skilled at guiding my actions through instructions. When shooting that set of frames cradling the white dove, we needed to stay steady in a relatively static position for a few seconds to wait for the optimal catchlight to appear. When shooting the microphone set, it required dynamic extension, completing the snapshot the moment the arm was raised. In terms of post-processing, there was no excessive skin smoothing or alteration of facial structures; instead, the focus was placed on the uniformity of the frame's light and shadow texture and atmosphere. This both preserved the natural authenticity of the portrait and endowed the entire set of photos with strong dramatic tension. Every time I engage in Anime fan works creation, figuring out the inner mind of Robin and the details of their body language is always the most immersive and enjoyable process. I hope this photo set can convey the unique tranquility and strength of the character.
