This Robin swimwear photoshoot took place at an indoor studio built with pool and beach sets. To capture the crisp, refreshing feel of this summer look from Honkai: Star Rail, considerable thought went into the prep work. The wig was carefully layered, and its soft light-purple-with-blue undertones appeared wonderfully gentle under the lighting. The halo overhead was secured with transparent acrylic rods; to make it look naturally suspended, we adjusted the angles several times during the shoot. The feather ornaments and pearl accents feature intricate details, requiring careful pinning to prevent them from dropping midway and slowing down progress.

For the attire, the blue-and-white color-blocked swimsuit boasts a flattering cut, while the deep blue piping along the edges tests textural quality. The floral waist accessory and blue sheer wrap serve as finishing touches. To fit the seaside-play motif, I specifically selected blue circle lenses, and the makeup emphasized a clear, translucent glow in the blush and eye styling, aiming to project the character's sweet yet energetic vibe on camera.

Since it was an indoor set, light control became the critical factor. A combination of overhead lighting and fill lights simulated a warm summer afternoon sun, though reflections off the water required careful management to prevent facial overexposure. The pink water gun in Photo 1 is an exceptionally photogenic prop—its high color contrast enriches the composition when held. While shooting, I sat on the mosaic tile steps with my feet just touching the surface of the water; the cool touch helped keep my expression natural. Photo 2 features me leaning against the poolside with a slight body tilt, showcasing the swimsuit's tailoring and leg lines. Photo 3 captures a sweet, tidy sitting posture, utilizing the sheer skirt hem to create an airy lightness. Photo 4 incorporates a transparent daisy-patterned floatie, leaning over the edge resting my chin on one hand for direct interaction with the camera.

Throughout the shoot, blending props and scenery into a unified whole required thoughtful planning. Elements like the nearby wooden barrel, beach chair, and sunflower bouquet added rich foreground and background depth to the frame. Portraying the character goes beyond merely wearing the costume—it requires capturing that relaxed, carefree summer ambiance. As Part 2, this set reflects a more liberated, expressive delivery in poses and demeanor, emphasizing fluid limb extension in a poolside environment. I hope these photos convey that cool, refreshing summer vibe. Although we were by an indoor pool, water splashing onto the skin or sheer fabric becoming heavy when wet altered the garment's original silhouette, so readjustments were necessary after every pose change to ensure flawless detail. During breaks, quick makeup touch-ups—especially ensuring foundation waterproof performance—proved crucial here.
