[Sparkle cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail Summer Swimsuit: A Refreshing Journey at Chimelong Water Park

We finally made our way to Chimelong Water Park to capture this summer Swimsuit cosplay look for Sparkle from Honkai: Star Rail. Shooting waterside outdoors under the summer sun tests both makeup durability and physical stamina. To channel Sparkle's quirky, delightfully mischievous personality, I poured extensive care into cosmetics. The eye makeup leaned into vivid pinkish tones, punctuated by her signature red beauty dots beneath both eyes; paired with the black-to-crimson gradient wig and prominent crimson bow hair accessories on the crown, her iconic character presence snapped instantly into focus.

For the wardrobe, I chose a two-piece bikini set in crimson with white polka dots, bordered with ruffled white lace and sweet ribbon bows, accented by a silver navel ring across the midriff. Being at a water park, I brought along a compact red camera housed inside a transparent waterproof case as a themed prop—it proved to be an exceptional storytelling accessory, whether held casually in hand or raised to pretend shooting, allowing movements to unfold effortlessly. Sunlight was intense that afternoon with blinding glare bouncing off the pool surface, but the bold red swimwear against the lush green foliage and azure water generated immense visual pop, resulting in a remarkably high yield of keepers.

The entire production progressed seamlessly. The water park's carefree atmosphere was naturally relaxing; splashing through water while creating art made for an unforgettable summer memory. Summer, swimsuits, and crystalline splashes are truly the ultimate pairing, and completing this Sparkle cosplay Summer Film in such a vibrant setting was immensely fulfilling.
