[Prinz Adalbert cosplay] Azur Lane magician-themed stage performance

This Azur Lane Prinz Adalbert magician-themed photoshoot has finally come to fruition. To match the atmosphere of the August 14th Coolness Festival, after discussing with the photography team, we decided to build a vintage magic stage. From the twin-tail styling of the wig to the red highlights, everything was meant to restore the character's gorgeous yet slightly bewitching temperament.
In terms of makeup, the red smudges under the eyes and on the cheeks matched with red contact lenses give a strong 2D stage feel under the lights. The highlight of the costume is definitely this black glossy patent leather dress. The reflective property of the patent leather material has extremely high demands on lighting, and wearing it provides a very strong body-hugging feel. The inner white shirt and the red bow collar form a strong black, white, and red color contrast. The lower body is paired with thin black stockings. To present a better visual proportion in front of the lens, I deliberately paired them with matching wide-brimmed garter rings and black glossy high heels. During the shoot, how to use the red velvet sofa to display leg lines became our most discussed topic. Whether sitting upright or leaning sideways, adjusting the angles of the waist and legs took a lot of thought, and the texture clash between stockings and patent leather also gave the frame more layers.
Regarding props, the black magician's top hat with a long red ribbon and a slender magic wand seem simple, but to show the magician's ease and mystery, the tension of the action must be on point. The action of making magic with the hat and the gaze pointing the magic wand into the distance both required precise facial expression control. The red and black diamond-patterned floor in the background, the vintage microphone stand, the disco ball, and the golden lantern, combined with the triangular stage frame with lightbulbs, greatly enhanced the immersion of the frame.
Shooting this set of pictures is actually a major test of physical endurance. Wearing high heels on the sofa to change various poses for a long time, while keeping the clothes smooth and the hairstyle neat, required paying attention to details at all times. To showcase the character's unique charm on stage, I tried combining sexiness and playfulness. For example, when sitting sideways, the crossed legs were not only to show the outline of the stockings, but also to make the composition more compact. In terms of overall action design, I wanted to embody a mysterious and confident performance state. The stage layout and costume presentation this time basically met expectations, and I hope this vintage magic stage style will be liked by everyone.
