[White Tiger cosplay] Azur Lane Studio shoot, black Qipao and White stockings under the red maple moonlit night

The setting for this Studio shoot is White Tiger from Azur Lane, with the overall style leaning towards Eastern fantasy and a slightly cool night scene. I am the model, and Teacher OUKAI is the photographer. A lot of thought went into the studio set design: a huge glowing full moon background, hanging red maple branches, alongside rockeries and floor lanterns emitting warm light, and smoke cakes were placed on-site to increase the mist effect on the ground, maximizing the light and shadow atmosphere.

In terms of styling, white twin tails are paired with black-and-white striped Animal ears, with two large golden bells hanging below the ears that make a sound when walking. The clothing is a black sleeveless modified Qipao with golden piping along the neckline and edges, and a side-slit design for easy movement. On the arms are white plush sleeves with golden cat paw patterns, along with a very long white plush tail. The base makeup matches blue contact lenses and red shading around the eyes, making the gaze look closer to the character's sharp yet somewhat cute feeling.

Regarding poses, we referenced the style of Azur Lane and communicated many times with Teacher OUKAI. For example, in the shots holding a folding fan, the focus was on showcasing the leg lines and the layering of the skirt's side slit while keeping the upper body upright. White over-the-knee stockings actually wrinkle very easily, so every time I adjusted my pose, I had to tidy them up again to ensure they fit tightly and smoothly. Also, for the pose with the leg lifted high, to capture the best arc and gaze, I repeatedly adjusted my center of gravity, keeping my leg muscles tense all the time. It was a test for balance, but the final photo effect was completely worth it.

The expression of the tail and plush sleeves in the frame is also very important. The photographer had me try various angles: sometimes throwing the tail behind the chair, sometimes placing it in front or letting it hang down. The fluffy texture stood out especially against the dark background and the warm light of the lanterns. Since it was shot in a studio, the lighting was quite complex, with the cool blue moonlight and warm yellow floor lights intertwining. I needed to constantly adjust the angle of my face according to the light source direction, otherwise, it was easy to leave extra shadows on my face. The blue pupils and red eye makeup were particularly prominent under the strong light, and combined with cat-paw-like actions, the on-site atmosphere was very cheerful.

The entire shooting process was very smooth. Teacher OUKAI has extremely precise control over composition and color, and I was also trying to materialize that 2D-style tension through my body and gaze. I really love this set of photos myself: the visual contrast between White stockings and the black Qipao is intense, and the red of the maple leaves and the cool-toned full moon formed a great color echo. When viewing the final photos, everyone can pay a bit more attention to the expression in the eyes and the lines of the legs. In that misty environment, it truly captured the playful yet slightly dashing White Tiger image in my mind. This outfit has many details, such as the hidden patterns on the Qipao and the paw prints on the sleeves, which are all worth zooming in to see. Overall, it was a very satisfying Studio shoot experience, and I hope this set of photos brings a different visual experience.
