[Altria cosplay] Fate/Grand Order: Candid Convention and In-Car Photos of My King

This time, I'm sharing my photoshoot reflections and the overall styling process for cosplaying Altria. To accurately recreate the ahoge cowlick on top of her head, I used extra-strong styling spray and reinforced it with clips—the cowlick stayed firmly in place from the opening of the anime convention right until closing. For the blunt bangs, I chose a silky, light-golden wig and trimmed the length with great care so it barely covered my eyebrows without obscuring my eyes. The red floral hair accessory and beaded tassels on the left side were originally fixed to the hair wefts, but because they easily bumped into things while walking around the venue, I reinforced them with bobby pins. For the makeup, to fit the character's 2D design, I went with large-diameter contact lenses and prominent upper and lower false eyelashes, accompanied by thick, elongated eyeliner. I used a very fair liquid foundation set with generous amounts of loose powder, which looked clean and smooth under the flat lighting of the convention hall. However, due to the crowds and sweating, I had to touch up the powder on my cheeks in the restroom twice. The lipstick was a bright red, applied with a smaller lip shape for a delicate, cute aesthetic. The costume was rich in detail: the blue fabric featured white printed patterns, and the oversized white plush fur shawl on the outside provided excellent warmth, though it felt extremely hot inside the crowded convention hall. The fur also shed easily, making it a bit tedious to clean off dark fabrics. The neckline featured a brown-and-white plaid tie, and the silver snowflake tassel brooch on the chest carried noticeable weight, swaying slightly with each step—paired with the blue tassels and golden knots underneath, the effect was lovely. The cuffs featured white ruffles, worn over a purple long-sleeved base layer to prevent wardrobe malfunctions. Finding clean backgrounds at the convention floor was tough; the ground reflection in the first few photos was very bright and crowded with other attendees, so finding suitable camera angles took considerable time. The final photo was taken in the car on the way back from the convention. The in-car side-backlighting fell softly across my face, offering richer depth than the direct lighting inside the venue. Given the tight space inside the vehicle, I simply reclined halfway against the seatback and rested my chin in my hand; this relaxed, casual pose unexpectedly brought out a distinct, natural mood. Wearing an outfit with such a voluminous fur collar felt slightly cramped inside the car, but sitting slightly sideways made the shot work. Overall, this Cosplay photography set drew plenty of attention at the convention, and despite the fatigue, I was very satisfied with how this Altria cosplay look translated on camera.
