This outdoor location shoot took place at a venue framed with sandy ground and tropical greenery. To capture Rem's signature visual essence, substantial effort was invested in hair and makeup beforehand. The light blue wig was trimmed with careful layering and smoothed down through the bangs to guarantee an organic, face-framing contour. The eye makeup paired vivid blue contact lenses with pronounced pink blush and soft reddish blending at the outer corners. To lend the complexion an authentic 2D texture under natural light, the foundation was kept sheer, relying primarily on strategic highlighters to brighten the center of the face.

For the costume, this swimsuit preserved the character's signature color palette and hallmark design elements. The white mandarin collar and ruffled cap sleeves lent structural depth to the silhouette, while the blue bodice was pieced with white frill accents. A blue satin sash with metallic buckle details cinched the waist, overlaid by a sheer light blue organza veil over a brown fabric base skirt to give the ensemble dimensional richness. To suit this look, shooting barefoot was an intentional stylistic choice.

A white woven egg-shaped wicker chair was chosen as the primary prop; its woven rattan texture naturally radiated a laid-back holiday mood while carving crisp geometric lines across the composition. Dense green shrubs filled the background, creating a cool, complementary contrast against the outfit's blue-and-white tones. The shoot enjoyed soft, diffused natural daylight filtering through the canopy, beautifully preserving skin translucency.

Two contrasting posing directions were explored. The first pose curled the legs inward with arms wrapped around the knees; this inward center of gravity evoked an introspective, serene mood reflecting her quiet demeanor, though it limited visibility of the garment. The second pose—ultimately selected for the cover—shifted the center of gravity, crossing the legs diagonally within the wicker chair. Leaning subtly forward, one hand rested lightly near the collarbone while the other draped effortlessly across the lap.

To emphasize clean, elongated body lines, this pose required keeping the spine upright, easing leg muscle tension, and naturally pointing the toes to stretch the visual line of the legs. The gaze shifted from looking level in the first shot to locking eyes directly with the camera lens, drawing viewers into an intimate proximity. The shoot unfolded smoothly, enhanced by the relaxing outdoor setting. From hair and styling to the costume coordination, this set aimed to evoke a crisp summer ambiance while remaining instantly true to the character.
