[Aglaea Cosplay] Capturing romance amidst the mountains, seas, and time

Amidst this divine landscape of mountains and seas, I attempted to capture the romance that belongs to Aglaea through my lens. For this cosplay, I chose the DIY Cosplay approach because I wanted to precisely restore the sacred feeling of the character in the backdrop of Omphalos, which standard off-the-shelf costumes couldn't satisfy. I polished the drape and layers of the fabric folds repeatedly, hoping that every fold could appear as nimble as the passage of time in the breeze. The light and shadow on the day of the shoot were absolutely perfect; the sun slanted across the white skirt, a texture that felt like planting romance into the mountains, seas, and time. Aglaea’s character temperament in Honkai: Star Rail is naturally aloof yet dignified, so I strove for balance in my makeup and expression—needing both the sense of divine detachment and a touch of human tenderness. The transparent atmosphere captured during this Outdoor photography is the core I wanted to convey in this work. As a detail-oriented creator, controlling every aspect from character setting to final results is crucial. This DIY Cosplay experience gave me a deeper understanding of costume structural design. I hope this work brings you some visual healing, allowing you to feel this touch of tranquility and romance belonging to Omphalos amidst your busy daily life.
