When putting on this Elysia: Ode to the Flowers costume, the first thing felt was the lightness of the blended colors. The gradient of pale blue and light purple is the most core undertone of this look, paired with a large area of white light gauze and soft pink long hair, the overall atmosphere presented by this Dreamy Outfit is highly dreamlike.

Let's talk about the costume materials and details. The craftsmanship of this outfit is indeed very dedicated. The golden bell adorned on the chest is the finishing touch; when walking, a slight weight can be felt, as if one can even imagine the crisp sound when the character moves. The off-the-shoulder design on both sides makes the upper body lines look softer, while the layered large trailing skirt on the lower body brings out the gorgeousness unique to this version. The flower clusters on the headpiece, complemented by a white transparent veil, create a sacred feel similar to a festival or wedding, making it highly photogenic.

To fit the character's traits, I put some effort into the makeup, ultimately choosing a pair of purple contact lenses with good transparency. Paired with the original pink hair color scheme, it carries that dreamy coolness while maintaining the character's inherent sweetness. The pink-and-white gradient wig is actually hard to manage. To maintain the fluffiness and layering during the outdoor photography session, I specially spent a long time combing and styling it before departure to avoid knotting after being blown by outdoor wind and to ensure visual smoothness.

This outdoor photography session took place on a terrace of a building with strong European classical elements. When the sunlight was great, the off-white carved stone pillars, exquisite railings, and the subtle blue of the sky served as a background, beautifully complementing the light color scheme of the costume. During the shoot, the lighting angle was extremely important, especially when the afternoon side-backlight hit the thin gauze, creating a translucent glowing feel, yielding an excellent photo texture when snapped at that moment.

However, shooting in this costume indeed posed some physical stamina challenges. Great care had to be taken when walking around outdoors with the large skirt, especially on steps and rough stone surfaces, as I was very afraid of accidentally stepping on the skirt and causing a slip. Combined with the platform shoes, shooting while wearing it for a whole day indeed consumed a lot of physical strength. Fortunately, every time after adjusting the position, as soon as the wind blew, the lightweight veil and skirt hem drifted slightly, completely neutralizing the fatigue with that dynamic feel.

In terms of mastering poses and expressions, I tried my best to avoid looking rigid. This styling leans more toward lightness and elongation, so I adopted more postures like looking back, turning sideways, or stretching limbs, striving for a comfortable and natural state. Especially at the moment the wind brushed through the hair ends, even just a tiny bit of fluttering made the frame look more vivid.

To cooperate well with the photographer, we spent a lot of time blending our movements, because the poses for this kind of large skirt often require repeated micro-adjustments to present the best contour in the lens. Thanks to my partner @炒方便面 for the composition; he utilized the depth of the on-site colonnade, which both enriched the layers of the background and made the main character stand out sufficiently without letting the architectural elements steal the spotlight. The overall finished photo effect carries that fresh and bright texture, and I am very satisfied with this cosplay experience.
