Doing this Cosplay costume try-on for Elysia Cosplay from Honkai Impact 3rd, the most direct impression was the challenge posed by the sheer volume and weight of the new weapon. Moving on to the overall styling: the top features a white base with blue cutout accents, requiring careful adjustments for a snug fit. The bottoms are glossy black leggings paired with white high-heeled boots. The boots have tall heels, putting considerable pressure on the heels after prolonged standing. The black fabric reflects a sleek sheen under the purple light, accentuating leg contours to make overall proportions appear much more elongated. The shoot took place in a dim room, using side purple light to highlight the illumination of the Glowing prop sections. A mirror served as a medium to better capture full-body silhouettes. Given setting constraints without complex studio lighting setups, the high contrast allowed the weapon's own glow to take center stage, cultivating the desired Anime cosplay ambiance. To make legs appear straighter, I engaged my core and arched my back while framing the shot within the mirror's borders. A few tips for fellow cosplayers: Glowing prop pieces consume a lot of battery power, so make sure to bring extra spares; although the leggings are stretchy, walking indoors can be slippery, so check sole traction; and because the outfit is heavy, shooting feels like physical endurance training—rest well beforehand to stay in peak form.
