[Cheshire Cosplay] Azur Lane Doujin Pajamas: Languid Waking Moments

The photo selection for Cheshire's doujin pajama look is finally complete. For this shoot, we incorporated soft stuffed animals as primary set elements to embody her quintessential feeling of having just woken up from a long, sweet slumber.

The deep navy and white palette of the garment provides rich contrast: crossed criss-cross chest straps, a neckline bow, metallic waist chains, and white accent ribbons offer endless delicate details. Putting this ensemble together demanded meticulous prep, particularly selecting White stockings that achieved a semi-sheer texture with a gentle snug pinch across the thighs, accentuating overall body contours before the lens.

Setting up the Plush toy background was quite an undertaking. To cultivate an enveloping, cozy atmosphere, colorful plushies surrounded the floor while poses adapted to the soft setting. Channeling that post-slumber daze, I explored leaning forward to tug my collar bow, sitting sideways with raised arms, and kneeling upright to adjust cat-ear hairpins—prioritizing angles that framed necklines, waist curves, and elongated leg proportions.

Working alongside photographer Shanyuan was seamless. Studio lights underwent multiple adjustments, relying on softboxes to eliminate harsh facial shadows while projecting warm background washes to soften cool blues, rendering skin luminous and translucent. Repeatedly checking strapping angles and thigh-high tension preserved the crisp silhouette and tactile fidelity of the fabrics. With a dreamlike plushie setup elevating the sweet yet alluring mood, it was a truly delightful Azur Lane Anime cosplay experience.
