Actually, I wanted to post this Eyjafjalla swimsuit photo set yesterday because it was her birthday, but processing the pictures took quite a bit of time, and now they are finally ready. This shoot was set in a summer-themed indoor studio; the ice cream models in the background, the pink neon sign, and the rattan chair all perfectly fit that soft, cute, and refreshing vibe of little Eya.

To pull off this swimsuit look, a lot of meticulous thought went into the preparation. The wig uses a pink gradient style; to recreate those slightly messy yet adorable twin tails, I used a flat iron to curl them strand by strand and fixed the layering with hairspray so they wouldn't easily collapse no matter how I moved. As for her iconic ram horns on top, for comfort during the shoot, I specifically sought lightweight materials, fixed them onto a headband, and hid them inside the wig, ensuring that wearing them for a long time wouldn't cause neck soreness.

In terms of costume, this pink-and-white checkered swimsuit is exquisitely designed. The outer layer of sheer ruffles has great layering, but it tends to lose detail under the camera, so during the shoot, I had the photographer ensure the light penetrated well, giving the sheer fabric a defined outline. In the first photo, I added a black leg garter—this is a little creative touch of mine to add a tiny bit of visual focus to bare legs, elongate the calf lines, and make the overall outfit look less monotonous. On the makeup front, to accentuate the 2D feel, the eye makeup used a large area of reddish-pink eyeshadow blended together, with eyeliner slightly drooped to create an innocent look. To keep the complexion translucent, I avoided heavy foundation, opting instead for highlighters to brighten the center of the face and nose tip, paired with pink circle lenses to make the gaze look more lively.

The lighting and shadows during the shoot were also fascinating. Since the scene itself was quite bright, we used a wide-aperture lens combined with rim-backlight, letting the light catch the hair strands and shoulder edges to produce a very natural, fuzzy halo. When holding the pink transparent heart-shaped floatie in the second photo, it was actually quite tricky to shoot because the transparent material reflects light; to avoid visible equipment and reflections, we adjusted the angle several times, and the hand posture had to look natural and relaxed. In the first photo sitting on the rattan chair, to make the skirt ruffles spread out nicely while taking the leg exposure angle into account, I adjusted my seating posture repeatedly—maintaining an elegant and slightly sexy stance without looking overly forced, while coordinating the stretching of the legs and the hand resting on the floatie for quite a while. Though the process was somewhat tiring, seeing the final photos capture that summer languid sweetness made it all completely worth it.

During breaks in the shoot, I found myself gazing at the menu sign in the background; the words vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry really made me crave ice cream. So when shooting the second photo, I tried to immerse myself in that relaxed state of just receiving an iced drink by the summer seaside or at an ice cream parlor, hugging a floatie and getting ready to play in the water. My gaze was slightly restrained, carrying a hint of gentle softness. Meanwhile, for the first photo, since it needed to showcase the full-body state, I deliberately chose a vacation-like prop like the rattan chair, with more relaxed poses—slouching slightly on the chair and gently lifting a hand to evoke the lazy, breezy relaxation of a summer afternoon.

People always say Eyjafjalla is a gentle yet strong-willed girl, so in expressing body language, I tried to strike that balance between being a bit shy and very cheerful. The pink floatie prop matched this outfit brilliantly; pink is truly the color that can lift anyone's mood the most during summer.
