Suzuran from Arknights captured a delightfully warm set of photos in the autumn forest. The mint-green dress paired with a fluffy white plush coat and accented with a red bow tie looks exceptionally clean and crisp. The shooting location was selected in a moss-covered stream valley where the water was remarkably calm, naturally forming a perfect reflective mirror that offered far more composition possibilities for this Forest cosplay. To ensure the shape of the tails, the internal support frame was installed and adjusted multiple times beforehand, and we kept monitoring the fur flow during shooting; when the wind blew, the tail fur quivered gently, looking incredibly lively. The props included a staff, a floral wreath, a brown crossbody bag, and a little penguin inside the basket, scattered across rocks and the water's edge to add narrative depth to the scene. To maintain a firm footing on the rocks in the stream during the shoot, my white socks and brown leather shoes were splashed wet, but the final photo results made it completely worthwhile. The lighting was afternoon backlighting, with golden leaves casting a gentle, glowing halo around the white coat, creating a warm-and-cool contrast between the mint-green dress and the warm background. Post-processing this time focused mainly on color balancing—preserving the warm tones of autumn while highlighting the translucent quality of the dress, with the water reflections enhancing the sense of spatial depth. We captured both standing poses on the rocks using props and candid moments sitting by the water with dangling feet; subtle movements, like pressing the shutter as the breeze lifted the skirt, caught that lively and Healing aura of the character. In this outfit, the textures of various fine details are also well worth noting—such as the floral textures on the staff, the woven structure of the basket, the feather-like softness of the multiple tails, and the precise tying of the bow tie, all adhering closely to the official design. Shooting the staff required careful attention to angles, as the artificial flowers and ribbons on the woven ring were lightweight and fluttered easily in the wind, which coincidentally added an effortless aesthetic beauty. The placement of the basket was also adjusted repeatedly; placing it on the rock formed an excellent foreground. This outfit looks wonderful in everyday settings, but walking through the woods accompanied by these fluffy Animal ears and large tails genuinely felt like wandering into a fairytale world. Actually, when shooting this set, the stream water was already quite chilly, but capturing the water reflections required constantly standing in the water; thanks to the photographer for their patient snapping. Holding the staff naturally wasn't easy without counterweights, requiring me to balance the center of gravity myself, but the resulting photos turned out very ideal. In post-processing, we deliberately preserved the natural palette, enhancing the contrast between the warm halo and the cool water surface, making the entire atmosphere feel like a bright pop of color in the forest. This interpretation of Suzuran in Arknights centered on recreating her lively yet gentle nature, and I'm thrilled to present this character amidst the beauty of nature.
