This set of photos featuring Amiya's JR collaboration detective look is finally here, and this entire shoot was completed by myself acting as my own photographer. First, let's talk about the costume details—the overall sense of layering is exceptionally rich. The inner layer is a classic white collared shirt, paired over with a black bow tie accented at the center by an exquisite golden triangular metal piece inlaid with a blue gem, connected to a slender gold chain. This touch of metal infuses the ensemble with a vintage detective charm. The outer garment is a blue short-sleeved capelet trimmed with brown-and-white stripes along the edges, exuding the youthful freshness of a sailor collar, while the blue beret atop my head neatly echoes the color palette. For the lower half, a blue-gray plaid pleated skirt is cinched at the waist by a wide black leather belt; its two metallic square buckles boast great texture, and the decorative gold chains hanging at the side create a crisp visual clinking effect when moving. Naturally, what best captures her bunny traits is that pair of fluffy brown long bunny ears on top—they carry some weight, requiring careful angle adjustments to stand upright firmly.

For hair and makeup, to match this styling, I wore bright blue contact lenses to give my gaze a clearer, more luminous presence on camera. The wig was trimmed and styled, slightly teasing the blunt bangs and long side tendrils to frame the face into a more petite silhouette. The white wrist cuffs and the blue rings on my fingers also enriched the overall completeness in the fine details. To ensure a crisp look, both the capelet and plaid skirt were thoroughly ironed prior to shooting, achieving a much better drape on camera.

The shooting location was a cafe featuring a wooden bar counter. Warm overhead lights and the large picture windows in the background cultivated a very cozy and bright atmosphere. Since I was shooting myself, both camera framing and posing had to be repeatedly fine-tuned. In the first half-body portrait, I held both hands in front of my chest with fingers curled like little bunny paws, looking directly into the lens to capture a sweet, energetic charm. In the second full-body shot, I leaned against the bar counter, holding a golden magnifying glass in one hand while resting the other on the counter, one leg slightly bent as I looked toward the camera. Here, the leading lines of the bar counter were used to enhance spatial depth, while the full-body view beautifully displayed the natural drape of the pleated skirt paired with chunky lace-up Martin boots.

Reviewing the shoot from a technical perspective, the greatest challenge of self-photography was mastering lighting and depth of field. With the cafe's mixed ambient lights, I maximized the side and frontal ambient light to brighten my face and eliminate unflattering shadows from the overhead fixtures. In terms of composition, the half-body shot focused on facial expressions and upper-body garment details, whereas the full-body shot leveraged the bar counter lines as leading lines to create visual tension. In posing, there was no need for forced or overly complex stances—subtle, natural gestures like resting a chin on a hand, holding the magnifying glass, or flashing bunny paws far better conveyed the lively charm of a little detective lost in thought or discovering clues. During post-processing, the color temperature was subtly adjusted to make the contrast between blue and brown more vivid, highlighting the rich color layers of the outfit. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the final result—the color saturation and textures turned out wonderful.
