[Arknights Wcos] Record of Running Wild for a Full Day at Hypergryph Fes

Hypergryph Fes was truly packed with people today, and my step count broke past 20,000 steps for the whole day. Today I cosplayed W from Arknights in her 1st anniversary dress—an outfit that had actually sat in my luggage for quite a while. Before heading out, I was debating whether to switch to another heavier costume, but looking at the weather forecast for the day, the temperature was just too high. To avoid heatstroke in the venue, I ultimately decided on this halter-neck sleeveless black dress. The silver-white short hair has a subtle sheen under various venue lights, and those two signature red horns on top are truly the soul of the look. However, hiding the support structure underneath and ensuring they stayed secure all day without falling off took quite some effort, leaving the top of my head feeling a bit numb.

For makeup, I specifically wore deep red contact lenses and blended a bit of red eyeshadow around the outer corners of my eyes to make my gaze feel more focused. Honestly, high-intensity convention makeup really tests the longevity of your foundation because the venue felt somewhat stuffy, so today's oil-control foundation and setting spray did heavy lifting. To complement the overall black and gold palette, the layered gold necklace around my neck was the finishing touch. With pearls and fine chains intertwined, although wearing it for long periods gave a bit of weight on my neck, the reflection effect in photos was stellar and very eye-catching.

To be honest, what I might regret most today were the shoes. To make visual proportions look better, I deliberately chose heel shoes. As a result, after walking around such a massive venue all day, the soles of my feet and heels hurt like needles poking them. Midday, I sat on the resting area railings several times not wanting to get up, watching other cosplayers nearby in heavier armor still posing with full energy, and could only silently admire everyone's stamina. But when encountering fellow fans in the hall who recognized the look at first glance and receiving everyone's recognition and praise, that spiritual satisfaction truly offset most of the physical fatigue.

The metal railings and glass curtain wall in the background were actually quite suitable as a backdrop. The venue's sharp architectural lines paired with this silver-white and black-gold anime convention outfit created a nice contrast. Sunset outside the venue offered the best light—even though I was utterly exhausted by then, I pushed through to snap a few photos. Speaking of plans for next year, although this experience was exhausting, it was truly fun. And the pitfalls I stumbled into this year won't be repeated next year—for instance, I definitely need to prepare a pair of flats as a backup. Now I'm already looking forward to next year's weather and whether I can unlock a whole new cosplay look to experience this painfully happy convention atmosphere again; it's completely worth reflecting on over and over.
