[Barbara Cosplay] Genshin Impact Swimsuit, Refreshing Sailor Suit Style Interpreting Summer Healing Vibes

When preparing for this Genshin Impact Barbara Cosplay swimsuit photoshoot, I especially wanted to highlight a refreshing sailor suit summer vibe, and the final results met my expectations quite well. The main body of the outfit features a classic blue-and-white color scheme, adopting a one-piece swimsuit cut paired with a sailor suit collar design, where the small yellow bow at the neckline brightens up the entire frame wonderfully. The upper body is paired with detachable sheer white long sleeves; this material looks exceptionally light and airy under studio lights, with subtle ruffles at the shoulders and cuffs adding a touch of soft maiden charm.

The iconic little yellow duck bag at the waist is the soul accessory of the entire look. Its rounded shape and bright yellow color form a striking color-contrast response to the overall blue-and-white palette, making the character look even more playful. The blue leg garter on the thigh is decorated with white flowers; although a small detail, it plays a great role in balancing the visual focus of the lower frame. The wig features golden curly twintails, and while styling, I intentionally curled the ends to create fluffy arcs, which, combined with the air bangs at the front and the sailor cap, makes the head silhouette look fuller. The sailor cap on top adopts a half-enclosed style, with ribbons at the brim dangling naturally to add a sense of dynamic motion.

For makeup selection this time, I leaned toward a clear, translucent base. Low-saturation blue-gray was used for eyeshadow to echo the costume, while colored contacts made my gaze appear cooler and more focused, with lip color kept as close as possible to natural nude pink to avoid stealing the show. Studio lighting utilized a large area of high-key soft light; this diffuse reflection light made skin texture look extremely clean while shooting the white fabric with a translucent feel. During shooting, to capture the costume's best form, I attempted various posture changes such as standing, sitting, and kneeling—especially side-sitting and knee-bending poses, which better displayed shoe and leg garter details. The shoes were white platform high-heeled sandals, with yellow star decorations on the ankle's blue straps, a design that not only echoed the primary color scheme but also suited the overall summer outfit style nicely.

As a pure studio shoot, removing complex real backgrounds allowed people to focus more on the subject's eye expression and fabric texture. The props and accessories were fully equipped this time, and there wasn't much restriction when wearing or moving around, allowing me to perform naturally and relaxedly in front of the lens without stiffness. Overall, this was a Cosplay sharing experience that showcased the character's healing attributes while balancing visual beauty, and I hope to have more similar attempts in the future.
