[Qingxiao cosplay] Wuthering Waves CICF Booth: An Ethereal Cerulean Realm of White stockings and Heels

At the Wuthering Waves booth during this year's CICF, the set design was exceptionally thoughtful. The background featured a colossal white architectural statue accented by a lotus pond and lush greenery; illuminated by studio-grade event spotlights, the entire installation exuded an incredible tactile texture. To harmonize with the booth's ambiance, I donned this blue-and-white classical ensemble and posed seated along the tiered steps. The garment is constructed from multiple spliced tiers of sheer chiffon and lustrous satin; the deep-blue sections feature woven golden and cyan aquatic wave ripples, enriched with abundant metallic hanging ornaments along the collar and waistline. To preserve visual coherence throughout the styling, I paired the outfit with sheer White stockings (tights) and blue-and-white colorblocked block heels. The wig was styled in an airy light blue, crowned with a translucent cyan headpiece that caught subtle highlights under the hall's spotlights.

Posing seated across the stairs was genuinely an athletic test of core strength: you must keep the spine rigorously upright while continuously choreographing the natural flaring arc of the skirt hem and the elongated diagonal of the legs. As I dialed in my poses with the photographers' focal lengths, I also engaged in playful on-stage interactions with my co-model portraying Hsin. Dressed in a bold crimson-and-black wardrobe with massive plush beast ears and a fluffy tail prop, she delivered phenomenal visual impact. Sitting side by side before the booth, we chatted between shutter bursts and directed our gazes toward different lenses across the floor. When cosplaying at high-traffic conventions, the ultimate challenge is rarely the sheer complexity of the wardrobe, but maintaining character poise through long hours within a chaotic, crowded environment. With every press of the shutter, poses had to be frozen clean, demanding microscopic control over gaze intensity and finger alignment. The separate sleeves of this outfit are featherlight, cascading naturally when the arms are elevated; however, large gestures easily disrupt the silhouette's lines, so I focused on cultivating static, tranquil grace. The combination of White stockings and high heels visually elongated leg proportions—a deliberate styling calculation that ensured clean, statuesque verticality when framed from low angles below the stairs. With huge crowds gathering around the perimeter of the booth, we took care to acknowledge lenses from every vantage point, periodically refreshing our seated postures. Spending an entire day ascending and descending stairs in high heels was undeniably exhausting, but seeing the resulting frames and feeling the infectious warmth of the convention attendees made every single hour of preparation deeply worthwhile.
